Like buying a car without test driving it first. It was way too stiff for me. It was also expensive. But I had it and so I bought a topper to make it work well enough. In hindsight, try any bed before buying it.

How good is a 25 year warranty if the business has only been open for 8 years?

AVOID AVOCADO MATTRESS!!! This overpriced mattress was a nightmare. Took few months to receive it, then within a year, it started sinking, and we started getting body pain. The warranty process was long and complicated, we ended up just donating the mattress. What a waste of $3,000. I would never ever recommend this company to anyone. It's very unfortunate because I had high hopes for this so called organic mattress company! Biggest wasteful purchase of our lives!

In your opinion are these bed in box mattresses actually the same size as traditional mattresses? I have a queen and don't want to go any smaller. I've heard they can run a bit smaller.

Hey who else has had black specks all over their new Avocado mattress??? Is that normal? (Aka not bugs???) They are supposed to take enough care to inspect and protect the mattress. Idk if it's just cotton hulls?? I haven't removed ours from the plastic and I'm afraid to but it came with a tear in the top (where the middle was) so I hope we didn't just get infested.......
