This time we are going to talk about “Avogadro’s Law”.
In a gas, its physical behavior is described by these four variables namely: Pressure, Volume, Temperature, and Amount (mol). In this video, we will have Avogadro’s Law which is concerned with the relationship of volume and amount (mol) of gas. This condition is true when temperature and pressure are constant.
Avogadro’s Law was formulated by the famous scientist Amadeo Avogadro in late 1812. In Avogadro’s experiment, he prepared two test tubes and fitted them with piston-cylinder assembly. In the first test tube, he added about 0.10 mol of dry ice and 0.20 mol of dry ice in the second test tube. When the dry ice became gas at room temperature and the pressure of the dry ice became equal to atmospheric pressure, he noticed that the volume in the second test tube is twice the volume of the first test tube.
Watch the video to find out more.

But if its a gas the the same amount of gas can be compressed into less space, so lets space and same amount, plus how we measure the gas volumen in it takes the shape of the fountain, some recipients requiere a much greater force than others, so the volumen the gas will occupy will vary

I have an doubt different gases have different atomic size... So,same no. Of atoms of different gas ( Equal to 1mole) must have different volume. As their atomic size is different.. then how this law is correct plzz explain🙏
@numbynumb
@numbynumb 3 жыл бұрын
It's because the individual gas molecules are so small compared to the space surrounding them. The difference is that it takes more energy to raise the temperature of atoms with a larger molar mass. But think about the implications regarding newton's laws of motion. It's pretty interesting!

May I add that one parameter is dependent on the other parameter volume is dependent on number of moles keeping temperature and pressure at constant
