It is because it works only with GSM (2G) now all networks are fit with 3G and 4G technologies

I explained in detail what happened, and after a scam alert phone call from my bank, I was hardly likely to open up the app again sorry.

The GF-07 will never work here for 2 reasons. 1, it is NOT GPS but GSM only. 2, only works on the 2G phone network which is now pretty dead in the UK like 3G. A GPS antenna is much wider than the device you have....Rip Off?....Welcome to China!!!

I think it work on a 2g Sim card and the GF22 has a gps antenna doesn't use the cell tower for location .sounds like u picked on the wrong site for software downloads

The app download comes from the QR code in the instructions that come with the GF-22

The product you bought was cheap. It was re-sold to you for a slightly higher price and the manual was switched. You are supposed to put a 2G sim card which is not provided with the GPS. You were scammed by a re-seller of this product, not the manufacturer.

@@Budget-Cars-And-Bikes Why would that be better? You can find the official app and everything for these GF trackers easily online. For a one time 10-20$ price they are the absolute best possible solution you can get, the size, the battery, the low usage of funds from a prepaid card unless you ping it daily for no reason, the magnet. Just set the alarm feature to activate at night to call you if it moves and buy a 5$ credit once every three months. Doesn't get more simple than that. Sure you can pay for a 50$ monthly subscription for the same thing, but if you just want to make sure your 2-5k$ scooter/bike doesn't magically fly away this is an amazing product, if anything happens to it you can just buy 4 at once and replace them when and if needed, also you can glue a battery to it and not worry about it for a long time.

Maybe it works, but the One featured here was a total scam, as mentioned they tried to sign me up to an on-line TV subscription when activating it! the ALDI tracker I've just reviewed is so much better for the money too :)

Hardware is not capable of that. You got scammed by the app. You probably downloaded a wrong App.

I didn't say it was a hardware scam, the q-code they provide takes you to the scam site, which in turn signs you up to the TV streaming service

How does it steal? I have been in GPS tracking for 12 years. First time to hear this. Teach me! Take a video of a device, use your nonsense word to say bla bla. Shame on such videos!

As explanied (if you had bothered to watch and listen) when activating the device, it asked for credit card details, in order to esstablish my location in the World. Then after this automatically signed me up to a Chinese TV subscription service at £30 a Month. My bank actually contacted me to stop this, as it had a warning about this scam. I trust this has answered your questions.
