You're definitely unofficially the greatest grammarian in English.

Kevin and Liza's channel is the epitome of the quote: "It's good to learn from your mistakes. It's better to learn from other people's mistakes." Keep up the great work!

GREAT job, Kevin. You and Lisa are the very best English teachers. My wife and I have learned so much from your videos.

Thanks Kevin and Liza. I believe these gals are models and trying to teach a different language.

0:43 This is no longer a grammatic, or pronunciation problem; it's a logical problem.
@rypsterhc8673Ай бұрын
I mean hes not only correcting grammar, he also tries to make every sentence sound natural
@fredylopez2477Ай бұрын
Yeah, maybe it ain't a grammar or pronunciation problem, it's a matter of logic BUT in the long run, it affects the teaching-learning process.
@mirtinhoxereto1748Ай бұрын
@@fredylopez2477 I'm not defending her. Indeed, even she uses correct pronunciation and grammar in this particular case, her flawed logic can still confuse the students.

I watched her original video. It's unfortunate that she teaches her students the wrong tool names, such as "open-ended wrench" instead of "open-end wrench," and "leveler" instead of "level."

How nice of you teaching us English! Could you please teach us when to use adverbs and when not to? Do natives use adverbs wrongly many times?

why a native English speaker would teach many wrong things???? i was just wondering...

So, she can make up new verbs too. "to wrench" is also a verb but it means "pull or twist someone or something) suddenly and violently. - He grabbed the gun and wrenched it from my hand.
@thomasedattu5132Ай бұрын
Can't we use "cause damage"?
@no89lan3Ай бұрын
Yes it’s correct
@fredylopez2477Ай бұрын
You can DO damage TO something or someone. Or. You can CAUSE damage TO something or someone. Or. You can DAMAGE something or someone.

And there are still people who defend these fake teachers. If her students knew the mistakes she makes, they wouldn't go to her school anymore, I mean, if she had a school.

Can I say - I nailed the nail
@fredylopez2477Ай бұрын
No, you can't. The correct expression is; -"I hammered the nail". # "nail" is also a verb but it means; to fasten to a surface or something else with a nail or nails. And the other expression would be; I fastened it with a nail.
@no89lan3Ай бұрын
7:20 it’s so cringey when KZbinrs make up expressions that don’t exist. I can understand it from someone who’s learning but not from someone who teaches.

She's not a teacher, she's a FAKE TEACHER. A real teacher doesn't make that kind of mistakes IF that teacher is a native English speaker, I.mean, if he/she was born in the USA and has been speaking English since he/she was a kid.
@fredylopez2477Ай бұрын
She ain't a real English teacher, she's a fake, and she claims she's a native English speaker and teacher and doubt it 100%, native speakers don't make that kind of mistakes
