Who gives a shit what Rolex ad’s want. If they don’t want to sell a 10k watch, walk down the street to an omega dealer and get a better watch for half the money.

Strolled into my local dealer. Told them what model I was looking for. Haggled a 10% discount. Got served champagne and gifted some paraphernalia. Walked out with my brand new spanking watch. This was in 2000. Bought my third watch from the same dealer a few months ago. Received the call it was ready for pickup within a month.

I was in Paris in April and the SA who was the same race as me told me straight up that there was nothing for sale except the lone Lady DJ in diamonds lol. Yet when I read reviews that particular AD had good reviews.

Dealers are sneaky too. I was made to believe I was on the wait list for a sea dweller but after waiting 6 years and constant follow up, it's still the lame " demand exceed supply" excuse. Later I found out that they had been trying to get me to buy pieces that I was not interested before actually considering me for the SD. It's OK. I've made up my mind that I'll never spend a single cent with them ever againand also the many other brands they carry. Their other brand omega too told me right in my face that I had to spend Malaysian Ringgit 150K on other omega watches before considering me for the omega snoopy. This is in Malaysia

It took me the better part of 3 years to land my Batman. Not sure why it took so long but I did buy my wife and son a few things over the last year. I think once you’re in the club, you can probably buy other watches.

Game the waiting list? There is no waiting list. There is the guy who came in after you and wants the same watch, but spent $10k on other jewelry from the AD for his wife/girlfriend. Who gets the watch, him or me?

Here’s a thought, buy watches you can actually get and are available and then you won’t even have to play these dumb games with Rolex dealers. These people think they hold a cure to cancer. It’s and freaking overpriced watch that people want only because they know how to market it. Don’t get me wrong, love the watches, I own one and would 100% buy another but I’m not kissing but to pay you 10k plus for a watch. Ain’t happening

How are all the ADs going to combat their reputation of being shady and creating false scarcity? I know, create a video on KZbin that claims they're all actually straightforward and honest and don't play games like putting you on a waiting list for a watch they have plenty of.
