I have a question, there's a song performed by Alice in chains named Rotten apple and one lead reads "Recommend you borrow". Does it have to do with context? Is it just a slip possibly said among natives? Is it a short way to say "Recommend that you..." I know being a native speaker won't guarantee your language is accurate unless you study the language so, this lyrics just popped up and made me ask you this. Thanks in advance.
