Yeah, that's an informal way to say it when you're talking with someone in the streets. It's like saying, as an example; I'm trying to tell you what to do". but you can also say; "I'm tryNA tell you what to do".

I think it's still correct "needa go" because the "d" in need can be pronounce as a fast d in some cases, so you have a fast d sound with another fast d sound, so you link the sounds. BUT I personally will pronounce it as NEED TO

Hi Kevin, thank you very much for that great explanation on how to pronounce the word or preposition "TO". I don't wanna seem arrogant Kevin but I used to speak like that when I lived in the USA (that was a long time ago) BUT I didn't know the rules and that's an important fact, now I know why it's pronounced in different ways and it doesn't hurt at all to know that.
