She always slurs her words hoping her mistakes won’t be noticeable. They are still noticeable but she sounds like she is not quite sober. Maybe her habit of always talking with her mouth wide open doesn’t help either.

I remember once my English teacher in middle school introduced me to a proverb 'he who makes no mistakes makes nothing' As an English learner I know that it's crucial to choose the right English teacher but learning from one's mistakes is a whole another challenge and of course everyone makes mistakes. Thank you Kevin for correcting them.

Yes, Bùlgari. Wikipedia mentions the same stress in English as well.

Hi Kevin As an English learner I love to understand the rules because sometimes other teachers point out grammar mistakes but they don't really explain the rules behind. I think I have figured out what is wrong with her sentence . She said luxury watches name and of course luxury watches here function as descriptive words to the word name it is kind of an adjective. So as adjectives do not take an S she should have said luxury- watch without an S and putting an S on the word name as she wanted to give a bunch of names I suppose. So the correct sentence should look like this. Today you are going to learn luxuary watch names. I really appreciate your work so keep it up ! Fatiha Switzerland

Why is "Bulgari" pronounced with the stress on the second syllable, if in Italian it's stressed on the first one? Did it change the stress recently, e. g. under influence of "Bulgaria"?

They're gonna - R - is barely audible in British English- I think Marina still has British English influence in her speaking, so this isn't a mistake... Though if she's saying she teaches the American version, then of course you're right😊
