Great video mate, As for carp care id say having everything set up (tripod, clicker, water bucket) anything you use when you want to get the fish out the water wether it be for photos etc. have everything ready to go straight away so your minimising the time the fish it out the water and being much safer with the fish when it’s on the bank

I am quite a beginner in the carp fishing world, but you defo need to have all your care items nicely prepared and within close reach so you don't keep the fish out of the water longer than needed for weighing and a pic.

my tip doesn't save money but does save some heart ache. Don't be tight and change your hook links and main line as soon as they start to look worn. Excellent review there mate, looks really good for the price, I like the sling a lot and you can never have enough bags. I like to have a bag and tackle box ready for each style of fishing so I can just grab and go. My top carp care tip and kit is combined into the following; set up the cradle/mat, bucket of water, landing net and scales, etc before you get your first rod out as you never know how soon that bites gonna come.

Having your cradle, bucket of fresh water, forceps if need and most important some kind of carp care antibiotics to treat the wounds. Just one go from the water to the cradle, unhook treat with carp care then quick picture and back in water. This is most important to take care of the fish ❤

My carp care tips would be to say it starts with playing the fish. Don’t bully it into the net, play it, tire it out and the fish will have less energy to flap about on the bank and hurt its self. Have a bucket of water ready next to your unhooking mat/cradle, but make sure the water hasn’t been sat in the sun and got warm. Wet your unhooking mat/cradle before putting the fish on it as they can get really hot sat in the sun. Make sure you are prepared! Get your net and mat/cradle set up BEFORE you cast your rods out. You might get a fast take and have nothing ready to deal with the fish. Have a carp care kit with you AND use it. I would use the Gardner intensive carp care kit And lastly, don’t mess about with the fish after netting it. Get it out, photos, weighed and back in the water as quickly as possible.
