Hard Mode or Challenge mode both just gave more challenge for those who prefer to have a casual play, if those players are dissatisfied with how easy it was, then there are Shinyu Defense ready to greet you, some people want to enjoy playing without getting their ass beaten up countless times and progress with the story, but if you feel like it's still not 'hard' enough and are not 'challenging' enough like souls games, please try to understand that both games are different.

One tip no one ever covers is to not sleep on the bamboo general store. I don't know which tab it was but one of them had character upgrade materials and stuff like that. That's valuable energy you could reserve. Granted it there was only like four ice skill things in there but that was pretty much 50 or 60 energy worth of material

I've been running Piper, Ben, Lucy because I like all of them. Piper is functioning as primary DPS (even tho she's labeled as Anomaly, she can deal a LOT of dmg), Ben is great for facetanking large or annoying enemies, and Lucy is just there to drop a nuke and leave every time I swap to her. I'm also level 26 right now and I haven't really had much trouble with my un-optimized team. It's important to note that there is *technically* synergy between every single character in the game, because of how Disorder works. I can have 2 Fire, 1 Physical on my party and swapping between them at the right cadence will proc Disorder in addition to Burn and Assault. I'm assuming it'll be a good idea at some point to run a more optimized team comp, but idk I'm just having fun right now.

About discs, i actually recommend you to get at least full gear for your main 3 (not full sets, just full 6 pieces of gear) because even a full 6 pieces of blue gear is better than running around with no discs at all.

Some unit really need 4 piece set because they are really good even with bad stat . For example fire set is busted even with low stat so i agree you need at least 6 slot but with 4 from a good set for your char

I play on Challenge mode because I'm trying to actually practice my combos for when the game does eventually get hard. The enemies still only take a few seconds to kill with bosses taking maybe a minute or two tops. The more health they have the more I can practicing chain comboing and getting the character rotations I want.

So about the residual singal. If I'm not mistaken you get like 8 from a 10 pull. So thats 600 / 8 = 75 * 10 = 750!!! pulls to get one 5 star engine. Of course you are guaranteed to get it but I think you are way better off buying master enxrypted tapes at first to get build your character pool first and if you need an engine pull on the banner and after that think about buying it in the shop if you really need a specific one. Especially as F2P it's probably way more important to get good S rank characters, you can still use like the 2nd or 3rd best engine and the character will still perform good without the No1 engine. PS: Please let me know if you get more residual signal from other pulls or if 8 is the standard. Edit: I think it's if you get a dupe of a character you get 8 and even more if you have M6 already for a character

Aggression is based on the enemy type, not challenge mode afaik. I only play on challenge mode, while my wife plays casual, and she just doesn't take damage and everything dies quick. I need to at least do some combos and parries to catch up. Later enemies attack faster and have longer combos

Sure, I got an ellen and grinded for her weapon, so since the early game she was pretty good; but I didn't even know how her flash freeze worked, mostly just doing phys dmg for like, a week, and I still think it went pretty easily. at least on the clips you showed with Lucy, it may be because those guys don't have fire weakness (I think) and because lucy isn't really made for damage, hence here classification as a support

3:19 Koldia? 3:35 Colda? 🥶 Tbh, most of those advices u get from just reading the things game telling u all the time. Not to mention "don't pair together Colda and Corin" is just straight up wrong - u actually DO want to pair them if you don't have a better option (which is pretty much only Lycaon, outside of some weird double dps variations), because "Koldia" is freakin OP stunner and sometimes u wouldn't have any good synergies for some characters. So yeah, its actually better not to have a synergy on ur Koleda, but have her stunning shit out of anyone for your Corin, instead of doing some dumb Corin-Billy combos or else, just for the sake of synergy. The only two good points I've got from this video - is regarding S tier W from residual signals (tho I'm not entirely sure its worth it, probably depending on your needs) and not grinding too hard on discs (tho should've mention that it is important to get your suitable 4-2 sets for every character in your main pack, as it gives you shittonnes of value) I don't meant to be rude or something and I get that its just ur basic advices video at the start of the game, but I do think it lack some quality. They're the standard weapons but that doesn't mean other characters can't use them. Though from my short look, they don't seem as universal as some of the weapons in Genshin and Star Rail. So I too am trying to figure out which is more worth it. May depend on which characters you have/want, like example being wolf man's may be worth getting if you really like him, but maybe not.

Btw the factions and elements do play big roles as you stated, factions increase your dodge, counter and such but elements increase their own element so like 2 ice types (Ellen and Aku) Ellen is an ice dps and so she has increase ice dam and crit and Aku is an ice supp she increase ice dam and decreases ice resistance (I know this cuz I have both of them) and now I do wonder what happens if you have a team that has both element and factions but there isn't any teams you can make as of right now that can do that

I see, so I am going to need to at the moment prioritize either my Grace, or Ellen. I have been using Grace, but I got Ellen recently, and considering what the video says, I would need to prioritize my Grace team for now, as I have the appropriate characters that all have those smiley faces, however that one was a mono electric team, so it wouldn't be too versatile. It has Grace, Anby, and Anton. I don't know exactly how good the team is, but it has been able to handle what I have faced so far. My level is either 23 or 24 according to memory. I have also been prioritising using my charge on stuff like promoting characters, or levelling the characters skills.

The game isn't hard in early/mid game at all, you can 3 star everything with semi synergy teams without much upgrades. I got Koleda, Lucy and Corin because i enjoy playing them and have been 3 starring everything with only the denny skill upgrades and whatever random disks i got dropped on me, with some a-class w engines that also just dropped from free random pulls. I'm sure in end game it will become harder but there is no need to sweat in this game for most of the content as long as you just level to the content you do. Invest in who you enjoy to play over being a meta slave and just git gut and have fun.

I got shark maid on 2 pulls i didnt even know what i got...i was just randomly doing 2 pulls from my (primogems?) Or whatever dunno 😅😅
