You know what I don't get. These girls who wear these long dresses that clean the streets. Then come in the masjid and walk over the rugs with the same dress. We pray there. We put our heads on the ground.

So what??? Prayer areas are vacummed and cleaned for a reason..... Cleaning the masjid is a whole job...And sisters are supposed to stay home anyways as they get rewarded more. Not only that, you can pray on earth or anywhere as the whole world is made a bed for believers...

Idk, i personally always make sure my dress isn't dragging by holding it a bit away from the streets. Varies from person to person i guess

​​​@@taimurahmadhow is it concerned with what the brother said above? anybody that comes in the masjid has responsibility to not damage the masjid by his or her own actions, and it's our responsibility as muslims not to make other muslims suffer in any way,think about it the dust and mud stuck on Abaya is the same as that on the slippers or shoes would you bow your head on the masjid if you knew somebody was standing there with the shoe? Why? Because the place became dirty would u say to him to not do it again or would say to yourself that no worries the cleaner will do his job? And yes every ground whether inside or outside is a place of worship but it doesn't mean you have to pray on dirty ground when a clean place is available so things can't be justified on the basis of that sort of thing ,you can pray anywhere it means you can't give excuses when mosque or clean places r not available.and it also makes a Muslim happy to know that world can not deprive him from worshipping his God as every land is his!

@taimurahmad I clean prayer areas, and vacuuming isn't cleaning that kind of dirt. We the believers are responsible for keeping it clean. I wear long dresses too. And it is impossable to keep in clean even when you hold it. You have times you need your hand like going into your purse or with stairs.

@taimurahmad If you live in the west like me. And dogs pee on the streets and other people spit on the ground and much more. It isn't about a person cleaning after you. It is about you being clean
