How long should you hold a house after you buy it even if you don't upgrade it?

Really great video! This was really helpful for me as I’m planning on renovating my house. Can you make a video on the opposite topic (ie improvements that POSITIVELY improve a house’s value)?

Yes, that's definitely a great one to do next

Lots of great recommendations! Appreciate all the grrat info. Solar or PV would greatly depend on where you live. In Hawaii it makes sense. Its the highest electricity coat in the nation and also the highest gasoline cost in the nation. A $40k investment would bring the average family of 3 with 2 cars about $800-$1200 per month in savings between electricity and gas for cars. That's $9600-$14,400 a year saved. You're good within 3-5 years. Of course this is for Hawaii

Great video! What about adding square footage or what about adding a full bath? Or a sunroom? Can you make another video about improvements that add value to the property?

Adding square footage makes sense as long as the price/squarefoot is more than what you're paying to add it (i.e. in expensive markets like in the Bay Area)
