I did ecom for a year. My loom view rate was 30% in early 2022 and now it’s less than 5%. Same script, same copy. Over the last year every kid with a minimum of one brain cell is jumping into ecom niche and blasting mass emails to brands. (I’ve seen more than a dozen of these emails from my clients). Brands are getting total banner blindness from any type of outreach. It’s a total shit show out there. Not saying it’s impossible to do well in ecom, but it’s exponentially more difficult. I’m making my switch to SaaS niche this year as I have a lot of experience in that field. And you can’t do well in SaaS niche without knowing the field in and out. Thanks Charlie for another great video and confirming ecom sucks 🎉

If you use the same script for any niche for over a year, no kidding your rates will drop. Ecom forsure harder but how can u expect results if ur not adapting??
@SagarSood Жыл бұрын
@@tyevolvegrowth same script different leads, not the same script to the same leads. Plus like I said I’ve seen the emails clients get from other SMMA and 90% of them have the same offer. At some point you can’t just go unrealistically crazy with the offer to “adapt”. And like I said, it’s not impossible to succeed in ecom, but I rather not fight that battle for the same result I can get in a less difficult niche. Every niche is difficult, some have more friction than others

I find that in the last couple of months starting an smma is kind of a trend and people are ruining the reputation of smma`s by copying a cold call script from the internet and calling up their whole niche in their city. How do I differentiate and stick out during the cold call? Most businesses tell me, that I am the 5th person calling TODAY who wants to sell employee recruitment through online marketing. Is there even a way to break the prospects mind barrier when they get terrorised like that every day with cold calling ?

@bupi. Жыл бұрын
I think the freelance pay-per-hour niches present an opportunity for consultation rather than just marketing. If they reach the lead cap that they business model has inevitably set on them, the agency owner can consult and teach them how to scale to accommodate the inflow and growth. This way they can charge (though small) for their advice and in the process of revamping the way the business owner delivers their services, they can develop a course around it and market that to others within the niche and use this new offer to scale their own agency as well as that of the businesses that they serve. Idk, just speculating
@zackvinci Жыл бұрын
It’s great in theory but this is under the assumption that the individual wants to scale their service into a business. Not a lot of people actually want to change the way they deliver results or take on that responsibility

My niche is eCommerce and let me tell you what I think. It can be more challenging, but the price is high. A lot of newbies now going into local niches which is making e-com an opportunity. About the offer, I don't get any money from them until I deliver the results (pay on results basis) and the best part is I don't run the ads, I hired someone and no I am not paying him out of my pocket. About the lead sourcing, I didn't understand why it is harder. I find businesses on insta with suggestion parts, I go to their website, I qualify them and then message them. It takes 3-4 minutes, I have only 6 hours in a day so I can send 120 messages per day. I'm curious about your opinion Charlie :)
