add one more very important point: avoid glaucoma drops that have BLK as preservative!!!!only use preservative😮 free drops please!

My doctor wants to do cataract and glaucoma xen stent simultaneously in January, any my right eye pressure is out of control even on the strongest drops. It’s at 24. I need to be at 14 and below. Is it better to get the cataract surgery now while it’s not a very hard cataract (I am 63) or only do the xen stent? I worry very much about this combination surgery. I have moderate normal tension glaucoma and recently diagnosed secondary glaucoma of psudoexfoliation.when I was diagnosed my pressure was at 22 in my right eye. He’s been my doctor since 2009. He is my second opinion doctor who I stuck with. Also I have never ever forgotten one single eye drop. Ever. I have OCD especially about this. So I know I took great care through these years so far.

I just had the xen gel stent surgery in my right eye 2wks ago. My pressure was 55 before and is now 13. It has been quite an experience. I pray it stays low for a long time

@@joanneramsey7723 oh Joanne, I pray it will stay low too!! I did end up having the surgery and at first it was 10, then 12 two weeks later and last week it was 14. I know pressure fluctuates. I hope mine stays 14 and below. I did the cataract surgery. My vision is worse. I have a slight film under the lens so he wants to laser. I’ll do that next time. But my peripheral vision is like looking thru a glass of water. I won’t do that with the other eye until I must.

Being a suspect does not mean he has glaucoma.

I’m confused my mom lost her sight to glaucoma 8 to 9 years ago but in the last two years she was able to see in a few moments last year during December she was able to tell that I was wearing a green shirt without anyone telling her, and since that day had me super confused to why she is sometimes being able to see a few things from time to time, she was even able to tell if the lights where on or off 3 times. Is there a reason for that?

@@babykushtkf1874 Yes a bit like sonar, we all have it, myself I use all my senses at once , Have you heard of the Myers-Briggs tests, it gives you a result after a load of questions, like for example im an INFJ , I can't even remember what the initials stand for but it gives you 16 types of ppl .

I = introverted, intuitive, feeling and judging , seemingly there's only 3% of us but I would say there are a lot more myself i have gave ppl readings from dead relatives and the dreams I get are premonitions, I also help find broken bones, and heal ppl, I never charge though, I believe its a free gift so I give it freely, all I ask in return is ppl pay it forward in kindness. To be able to give some1 their heart smile back is my reward, so to speak.
