Avoid This Woman In RIGA, LATVIA !! My First 24 HRS
Welcome To Riga the capital City Of Latvia where im taking you along my first 24 Hours .
Latvia is avountry on the Baltic sea between Lithuania and Estonia. Its Landscape is markedBy wide beaches as well as dense, sprawling forests.
The official language is Latvian and has an approximate population of Latvia is is About 1.8 Million people.
On my arrival i decided to check out the Centarl Market of Riga which is the biggest market in Latvia although the sellers were shutting down when i arrived. The market is open from 8 A.m To 4 pm where later everyone shuts down their bussiness and even restraunts and streets youl barely see anyone outside.
It was an amazing experince to be in Latvia despite the unfriendly woman i met in the central market. Thanks for watching God Bless Latvia.

Big drama over nothing. How about some respect for her stall? What you did was like walking into the back of someone's shop and she is obviously not used to it. Instead of saying sorry and maybe defusing the situation and everyone relaxes, you just exploded. You walked into her stall, was no access there, so not her fault.

From her point of view, you were the one being rude. Cause you just entered where you were not supposed to. You could see other customers were in front, only vendors were behind. So she saw you invading her working space with a camera. You should have apologized actually. It's important when in a new place to observe how things are organized and how other people are behaving. You clearly see that the market is organized in such a way that customers pass through alleys.

Agreed as a former Missionary you have to learn the customs before you go at times you give entitlement vibes asking can you sit in the front what abput the Uber Drivers safety he doesn’t know you and you have a camera in his face. When you were in Kingston same thing asking to go in the kitchen then stirring in the pot. You my dear need to learn to respect other people’s culture and customs. I have not seen you once ask can you film anyone yet you do it and other things I enjoy your travel videos but just be respectful because if people came to Kenya you would want respect and God knows if you ever came to The States particularly Philadelphia Pennsylvania you would get a rude awakening other wise be Blessed

Perception will either make or break your experience. Our experience will be always better when we don’t personalize things. To put this woman on a thumbnail and say avoid her is unnecessary. You don't realise you were trespassing and invading into the back of her shop. Also, don't expect a person in a Baltic country to be able to speak to you in English while she's also trying to do her job. I think your reaction to her was rude, while she wasn't being rude at all. There's also a think called respect for the elderly, and she clearly is an elderly person who's probably worked in the market for decades. You also made the people at the stall uncomfortable by maintaining your aggressive approach, while they were trying to explain to you very kindly the situation. "She doesn't have to be rude" is a typical reaction when you are not even trying to adjust and understand the culture and other people. From her point of view, you were being rude, walking into her space, not paying attention to your surroundings while waving and speaking to a phone. Not cute!

Come on Dee any place you are not supposed to go behind the counter. I think you overblew the situation. Honestly you were at fault. No one was there behind the counter so what made you think you could walk back there. its common logic like being in a restaurant you dont walk behind the servers who are serving food, or in a shop you dont walk behind the counter. This is not relective of Latvians like you are trying to lay blame on. Just because one person reacted in a way you did not like because you were on the wrong does not reflect on an entire country

The other lady seems to know basic English and that's why she intervened by also telling you what the lady asked you to do. Please try to learn how to react to situations especially when you're in other people's country. Bear in mind also not everyone like being filmed and make sure to respect people's space and boundaries. It doesn't hurt to ask people if they're ok being in your video by briefing them about you being a youtuber. I love the view along the road. Yes lots of underground tunnels and people are going about their business. It’s sad but everywhere you go you find rude people.

I did not see any rudeness with the woman selling vegetables. She pointed her hand direction you while busy attending her customers. The word you used "avoid this woman" is a much for too strong for something pity. You have to understand Europe rules are rules. Dont take it personal.

The woman wasn't rude, by now after you've travelled the world, you should know how to contact yourself in public moreso in a foreign land and try to be friendly. You were even headed towards the fence where there was no throughway. Ulitaka kufanya nini kwa fence? 😅😅😅

THE WOMAN WAS NOT RUDE!!! You invaded her personal space with your camera. And then to turn around and say that people should avoid her and in the process ruin this poor woman’s business??? I’m lodging a complaint to KZbin about this. This is harassment on your part 💯!!

Riga - the largest city in the Baltics - has fastidiously preserved its riverside promenades, plazas, and Medieval architecture through two World Wars and Soviet-Era redesigns. From niche museums to a craft beer scene, Riga has a little bit of everything. Here’s our guide to the winding cobbled streets of the enchanting Latvian capital: Thus is the info from 23 and me.
