I haven't had anything like that happen, but I have had to restart/go back to square one on my NUMA research ship because of design flaws. It sucks, and I understand the headache. I like stormworks but man can it be a pain sometimes. I like the idea of building a basic platform for boats, I did that with land vehicles because I found the custom engines tough. I also didn't know pressing paste twice would undo logic, good to know. Thanks for the tips!

some autosaves of vehicles get moved to your recycle bin when removed from your game you might be lucky and find it there

I did something similar with a plane I made, I realised that I got a number wrong with the microcontroller, and then I ended up having to delete it and replace it, and it took me an hour to fix up the logic
