My wife had a total hip replacement in 2009. May 2019 she had surgery due to the worn cover on the ball joint. So the cover was replaced. October 2019 and April 2020 the ball has come out of the socket. Twice put back in/ Closed reduction. What can we do? We have confidence in our ortho surgeon, BUT... BTW her trochanter is very compromised. Considering some type of total immobilization. ADVICE?
