Taking your course has made me a god Master amongst models

You can also use a laplacian operation to have maya push cotangent vertices to better positions without such a dense geometry. Tricky to work with and you might have to write a bit of code but can work if you feel like getting really advanced! I only vaguely know how to do it but I have seen it done with success! Come over to blender! The community really needs proper modellers like you!!!

To answer questions about deformers like bend etc. Yes, you could. If deformers don't cause stretching (cause most do), and if the GO is not part of linear workflow, but standalone object. Otherwise, you're stuck with this problem.

I don't know if it's applicable to cinema 4D but in maya or 3ds max you could model your details on a flat plane > add the support loops to hold the hard edges > subdivide (smooth) > use the bend tool/modifier, this will give you a nice curved mesh without pinching.

Do you have a course which explains Sub D modeling like this in more detail? Where can I purchase it?

you have a nice technique about edges flow but you can fix this situation by using conforme

So, it looks like in the end, it's not possible to get 100 percent of the pinch out?

Great tutorial thanks. You promised us a month back to show us a zbrush and c4d workflow that you found. Still waiting for that....
@Elementza6 жыл бұрын
Currently delayed. But workflow is no different than any other. Blocking in ZBrush till panel transitions and without adding to much detail, zremesh/decimate the sculpt, and using GoZ script to transfer it into C4D for retopology. That´s it.
