I left Japan at the end of March 2011 (during the non-stop aftershocks from 3-11-11) and you two moved there in April, so it's like still living in Japan vicariously through your videos since then - minus earthquakes and aftershocks.

The heater probably has that and four different adapters for different countries, I wondered where it was Manufactured? Well enjoy the heat anyway. Also was thinking maybe it’s made like that to have a surge protector lol

19:05 I've been here! I walked out on the volcanic rocks that stretch out into the lake and got a mocha from a guy that turned his tiny truck into a coffee shop. There was literally just enough room for him to sit and not turn around. Had omurice at a restaurant right by the lake. It was just as cloudy on that day too, couldn't see Fuji-san at all.

Great meeting you today guys! I can't believe we ran into you on our first day in Japan just wandering around Shinjuku (I was the fanboy in the blue jumper who said hi in front of Donki). We're about to head to Kawaguchiko and ride around on bikes too - hoping for better weather.

@4:00 I think most if not all of the "Ride the Ducks" branded tour buses like that went out of business after there was a fatal incident during a thunderstorm in the original Branson location some years ago--which was the one I'd actually been on, twice! Those vehicles are basically death traps the way that they're modified for civilian use (not that the original military configuration was all that much better, apparently). A few days ago I watched a KZbin documentary about it... it was both quite sad and yet a comedy of errors on all the things they did that they shouldn't have done.

My solution to pizza that wont fit is to karate it on the side of the counter and split it in 2 or 4 pieces while frozen. It works well especially if you have thin crust with not too much toppings.

Think it's entertaining how you guys find a bus being later by 12 mins unacceptable. Meanwhile here in Ireland buses are frequently 30-40 mins late and I've seen buses be as late as 2 hours. And this is a major city with hourly or have hourly buses.

@@kydeanderic I don't know whether this is how taxis work in Japan, but the last time I had to take a taxi (I missed the last bus for the day) the meter started before it got where I was. When I asked a local if they can call a taxi for me, I was told that the taxi would be coming from the train station and the meter would start from there.
