I'm a native Spanish speaker and I had to change my mind when i was learning English to say "I'm 25 yo" instead of "i have 25 yo" now I have to basically forget all that and go back, to learn french hahaha, I find it easier to understand from a spanish point of view, they're very similar.

I have been looking at the first videos and I liked them but I felt I needed the book to force myself to do the exercises. I finally bought it and I was pleasantly surprised because the lessons are easy to follow and do the exercises. The book is big and fat due to all the extensive material it covers at a bargain price. This book could easily be used as a standardized textbook in any academic setting. I would use it in my school but I am already retired. Lo siento!

Thank you for the class. The expressions that have de like avoir hâtr de, does the de change depending on the gender and number of the word coming after it like it did for avoir mal à....?
@TheperfectfrenchwithDylane Жыл бұрын
It depends if there is a verb after or a non. If there is a verb, it doesn't change. Avoir hâte d'arriver If there is a noun it does. Avoir peur des araignées I hope it helps :)
