I think the film is much better the last two Predator Reboot attempt films or The Alien Covenant film. Director Paul WS Anderson crafted a good story and film display the war between the two races. The ending fight scene is Dark, intense, Serious, and has great effects work.

Lance Henriksen is the best thing about this movie. That said, there are a few things that I'm not sure I like. "Oh, he's marking himself, a rite of passage for warriors." The Predator is an alien, and to instantly make that sort of connection seems silly. Also, Scar was, what, in the middle of enemy territory full of facehuggers and xenomorphs running around, and he decides to let his guard down, take off his mask and mark himself? Just to get facehugged? I feel like that was done only to set up the Predalien later.
