It's really nice to hear your experience with Avril's music! I can remember jamming out to songs like "Complicated" and "Skater Boi" back when I was younger! I have since listened to her first album numerous times and I just love it so much and love her! I also remember getting her self titled album for Christmas the year it came out and enjoying that album just as equally as the first! I have just revisited her most recent one and she is just so amazing! I know I definitely still need to check out the albums I haven't listened to yet but I can already tell I will enjoy them as well! I hope you do more Avril reactions! Please do the full album review! It is very conceptual, the first half is moody, more dramatic, deep and introspective, whereas the second half sees a very clear mood switch and becomes lighter, more hopeful and more playful as it progresses. All the tracks are arranged in an order that tell a story and you can feel her journey through the album.

I like Taylor, a lot actually, but she’s a year younger than I am (how did I get old?). I had Avril to look up to as a 13 yr old. Except for her third album she is pretty damn flawless. Just for your own benefit listen to “Seventeen” from her self titled album. I think it’s one of her best songs and it’s just...chill. So glad you’ve found this woman again. I LOVE this song. But even the title of I Fell in Love with the Devil had me skeptical. For that reason I didn’t listen to it right away. When I finally did, I went in with an open mind hoping it would surprise me but it was exactly what I thought it would be and I just really wasn’t impressed at all, especially with the music video. I was really disappointed. I heard this song first and was blown away. I Fell in Love with the Devil killed it and now I’m not sure I’m interested in listening to the album.
