Therefore more and more sites will transition to a subscription based service, and maybe youtube will too. They have allready begun using two ads in a row to get the most out of their ads, and they are offering a paid service without ads, and if we continue to use adblocks, maybe all of youtube will be accesable only to paying users.

I like when classical composers used unusual instruments in their compositions, such as the celeste in "Dance of the Sugar-Plum Fairy." Tchaikovsky did that a lot. Hard to top the cannon though.

Has anyone here remembered 'Tom and Jerry: A Nutcraker Tale'? This became so memorable to me because of this childhood movie. (Edited. I've learned a lot of classical pieces and some composers from Tom and Jerry films. I am so grateful that I had a wonderful childhood, and that I get to hear these beautiful pieces when I was young because honestly, our music class before wasn't keen enough to let us hear the pieces of the composers they taught us about.)

Tchaikovsky was decently satisfied with the music, otherwise he wouldn’t have allowed it to be used in the ballet. The show itself was not successful when it was first premiered. That’s why he chose several pieces from it to preserve for the future. That’s known now as The Nutcracker Suite.

One of my most cherished memories of Christmas was waking up early to admire the family tree. My dad put the Nutcracker Suite on the record player. He then told that if I looked hard enough I could the sugar plum fairie dancing on the ornaments. Thanks to childhood magic, I did!

I've known Tchaikovsky's music for years now, ( I am so old), but his invention and beguiling melodies remain fresh. So unjust that for several decades his music was held in contempt by those 'in the know'. It is great to learn that new and younger people are warming to him too. He would be so glad to know that his endeavours were not in vain...He was surely one of the greatest composers of music.

I still remember as a child when we had this class in school called 'music' and we learned about history and evolving of music, listening to a lot of it also, this and the opening to 'piano concerto no 1' were my absolute favorites. My old elementary used to hold a nutcracker play the monday and tuesday of thanksgiving break. the third graders would sing to the lyrics given to these iconic songs by the music teacher the fourth graders would be acting on stage the fifth graders working behind the scenes with the music teacher to make sure everything was running smoothly i may have watched the true ballet a million times and listened to the song even more, but watching this play and being the narrator of it in my fourth grade year just gave me true nostalgia.

Reminds me of my childhood. Watching Tom & Jerry and lots of Christmas movies and animations, eating cereal with my pajamas on at all times. I want to cry from this nostalgic atmosphere of Mistletoes, gift-wrapped presents, candy canes, and the red and green auras.

*Damn found you!!* Damn It takes me back to the good old days when I used to watch Tom and Jerry and listen to awesome classical music It's pretty hard to search the classical pieces as there are no lyrics because the beautiful melodious notes could not be desccibe in words ❤❤💖 and also the fact names of the pieces are hard to remember Thanks for the different section of the whole music though!!

"Barbie and the Nutcracker" is the only Barbie Movie which is great, even for Boys/Men xD
