I'm pleased we had high definition cameras to record these flights. Pity we couldn't do the same for the Victor. Also, great clear commentary.

ill remember that flyby forever like it was yesterday, i like the shadow in the clouds she left as she vanished into the distance, nothing will ever by the same as the Vulcan at the airshow

I was there, it was almost magical to watch it disappear up and over the clouds at the end.

Superb video! Thanks so much for sharing :-) Great timing by the commenter too, he knew when to let the Vulcan "speak" for herself! What an awesome design, encapsulating the very best of our wonderful Country. Sad it's her last season, but perfectly flown by the crew. It's almost impossible to describe how this one aircraft can make so many people smile, clap & cry at the same time!! We remember past & present those who have been lost fighting for our Country's freedom, we remember too those who stood ready to deliver the ultimate deterrent in the freezing depths of the Cold War. Our chest reverberates with that wolf-like howl from those mighty Olympus engines. We nod in humble appreciation of such a deadly yet elegant flying machine. We salute those who died in accidents whilst serving in the V force & bow our heads to those affected by airshow tragedies. We marvel at the design & engineering of those early decades after the war & remember that together, we can achieve great things. Vulcan. A timeless British classic!

I'll leave the raw unedited here. A well meaning German Daddy plonked his six year old on the fence during the first fly past which blocked my view. I was in the zone and was probably a little rude to both of them - as is audible, so apologies.
