Why would the “dislikes” choose this, from the “menu”, to watch and listen? There was NOTHING to dislike; the music, the soloist, the conductor, the orchestra, the camera work, the audience, the concert hall, nothing, everything was perfect. Of course, criticism can be justified, from time to time, when one is “qualified “ to judge, so I am guessing that there there must be more than 1K unsatisfactory areas here that I must have missed? So, I will watch again, and again, to see if I am able to spot them, somebody has to do it!

The "heavy metal" types are envious of and irate at those who enjoy good orchestral music by classical composers snd must find some way to express their anger. That could be one explanation. I dislike the way they have corrupted the classical guitar but see no point to use KZbin to express that.

@@diannebettag1178 really? OP does say he’s LISTENED to it so many times… seems to me you have made a big jump from that, simply because (presumably) he dared to venture the opinion that Alena is both beautiful and plays beautifully. When did such a view become such an offence? She has not been reduced to her beauty, it’s just a secondary opinion imho. Alena is simply amazing in this piece, which is not an easy one to play. The way she uses nearly 💯 of the bow is even more impressive. That’s not easy to do either. Her finger work is also second to none. The way she goes from one end of the fret to the other almost effortlessly, is truly rare My mother was a talented violinist and English professor. Her deep love of both classical music, especially Romantic, and the Bard, would work together. For her senior thesis classes she’d always ask students to do an analysis of the way that Tchaikovsky caught Shakespeare
