Hi Katie! It's me - Patricia from Salt Lake City. I just want to say that I have loved doing the work all these years, But beyond that - to read your books, especially a A Thousand Na 35:01 mes for Joy and a Mind at Home with Itself puts me in the awakened state. I use the audio versions as meditation. I immediately know who I AM . ❤

Byron is amazing - I wish the host However, gracious talked much less and let this master share her wisdom and let the conversation flow more. There was too much of an agenda. I’ve seen that with over and over again with host that part was disappointing for me. I have to say.

I completely disagree. This is a beautiful conversation! Both voices are valid! ❤

You had this amazing guest on, and you hardly gave her the space to talk?

You are both so wise and beautiful. This really got me thinking, what does it even mean to "like" someone? We want them to approve of us? Provide validation that we are "good" or "right"? Ultimately, I believe this stems from a lack of parental validation. Once i was able to identify and grieve the approval and validation I never received from my parents, I was finally able to heal my own need to be "perfect" for others. I finally learned that another's emotional experience has nothing to do with me and is not my responsibility to manage or fix. The freedom I feel now is profound. Thank you both.

@@JessicaLark You miss the point. You go inside to find the self as opposed to searching for it outside of your self. Everything is not the self. The self is connected to everything.

@@claresmith9261 You're overcomplicating and missing the simple point I'm making, which is that we're constantly being encouraged to read this book or that, or to listen ti the wisdom of this person or that person, when in truth we all have our own inner teacher and guide. We need to go within to find our own inner teacher.

Adore Katie 😊 she helped me in my search for real me. My first "mentor" and she don't know it😅

As a side note, it rubs me the wrong way how much this woman cuts you off...I sense that you clearly look up to and respect her, but that does not mean that you deserve to be cut off everytime you open your mouth to say something...there is a way to address this respectfully as well. No matter how much we look "up" to someone, our inner workings and perspectives still deserve to be fully heard and allowed. ❤

relax ..... Byron katie is brought to talk not to listen and we came to listen to her not to the host. Hosts need to listen more and talk less .....

Thank you very much for both of you.... getting connected to our authenticity and spontaneity requires us to work deep inside ourselves and question our beliefs and ideas that we have acquired throughout our life unconsciously through our family and society.
