The fact that this was his reality at one point, absolutely heartwrenching
@thomasennaa4 жыл бұрын
What makes this so emotional for me is that some off his acting is based upon his own history. God knows how many years ago it was but dougie did try to take his own life & I'm glad he survived. :(

Wow. I lost my grandmother 4 years ago and the following months after her death, I was a zombie. I don’t even know how I was able to go to work, I was on autopilot. I know it’s a different story and a different kind of love in this piece, but it feels very familiar to me anyway, especially the beginning. Her death affected me, it still does sometimes. Beautifully done. Bravo.

There's so much storytelling through CC, J cuts and locations. These shorts have so much to grow on all of you. Dougie as an actor, David as a creative director, even James as a composer out of his comfort zone. Keep doing this, you have so much freedom on doing what you want and this is amazing. Congratulations on all of you guys, looking forward to see the BTS

Bravo Poynter, bravo!! You made me feel every emotion on it, I got to feel the pain, the sadness even the happiness that he felt when she was there, the music, the colours, all the production and post, its was incredible, I'm standing up and clapping so loud. I'm so proud of you Dougie, success!

I have been doing lots of video and movie editing for my job and I find this very very well made, it actually gave me chills. The direction and cinematography are very carefully done and the main protagonist's acting is very impressive. He's definitely believable, with lots of potential, but I still feel he's got a lot more to give in this performance. I really felt that 4:34 - 4:39 was a very real moment and the best acting moment. I've filmed in England and Ireland before and the scenery looks familiar too. I'm interested to see more of the story, as this short clip has ignited many questions that I would like to see answered in a part 2 maybe. Great piece of work!

Good for you and the other Mcfly members have been trying stuff outside of your usual stuff and I'll be there to support you guys along the way :) PS, Nice for James Bourne to do the music for you too :D
