I explained this to my friend, tried to explain it and then I found your videos. It felt like I was everywhere and everything. I told her it felt like I was Wifi, absolutely amazing and blissful. The energy going up and around my spine was very scary when it happened. It started from my feet. I laid down in bed, in the dark one night and my feet felt like they were tingling. I thought it had something to do with diabetes, but no. I shook my feet a few times and thought: "weird man, very strange" and I laid back down. Then my feet started vibrating and before I could think it started going up my legs to my waist! I was very surprised. As it got to my waste the energy/snake wrapping around my spine shot upwards all the way to my head and then, then the most powerful energy blasted out! My eyes and mouth were wide open, I breathed and the energy shot out from me. It was incredible!! Ive been learning as much as I can ever since. Ty for your information!

Me too Kundalini has been in my head for three years now. When I sleep sometimes it will become more active and it scares me so I force myself to wake up when it happens. I say, this explanation is actually very close to correct. I can't really talk about the yogic philosophy versus science but I can say there are a lot of things yet to be found in science and a lot of things in yoga that are just metaphoric descriptions created because of a lack of modern scientific inquiry. I bring this up because people have what is described as yogic experiences without any knowledge of yoga practices. I can also say this video description of the experience like so many other tellings is drug-based and not the open or clean experience. The video is really very good in a way that could foster personal inquiry but it equally concerns me it might lead people into maya through drug use. The drug use is of little concern to me my concern rest only in people being lead to maya

The coming down seems to be the outer or Evolution. And the Kundalini Awakening Within by practice of yoga is involution. It depends on the position of consciousness and the development of the individual. The higher planes are inner planes. The Holy Spirit or Kundalini rest Within. A drug is anything chemical that alters your neurobiology. By that definition, Ayajuasca is a drug. The word has taken on a negative connotation, but without that drug, you can only tase altered states - you need to meditate to completely rewire your mind.

Hey Raja! I admire your lectures very much and I have a question. Where did yoga come from; the north or the south? The Dravidians say inequivocally that it was the south but there is so much about the north. LObsang Rampa said that before the Indian continent banged into the coast, there was a very advanced civilization and I assume that included yoga since Muktananda has his roots from the Himalayas but then he was more into self-realization through meditation rather than yoga even though he was apparently a yoga master. Indeed in the south there seems to be more richness but could that just be because the weather and scenery was better for advancing one's yoga practise. What do you know of about this? It will be great to hear from you!

By raising an individual consciousness out of the root chakra and hence out of fear and its primal forces, the rulers of humanity have no power over you. There power is and has always been illusionary just like a magic trick and hence loses all its power when the trick is exposed. This magic trick works by creating a dependency, based on a fear. They create the fear (War, hunger, poverty, bad social environment, bad toxic environments, bad political environments, bad religious divides) and then come up with a solution: Lose of your sovereign human rights for security/safety. VERY VERY Old con trick. Raise your consciousness out of fear and free your mind. Love rules
