Given how large your territory is, it may be a good idea to take some time to go through the galactic map and get a solid idea of where your troops, ships, and key infrastructure are. It seems like you're losing track of forces that you've been building up for quite some time. It could also be a good idea to go through your planets and give your ground facilities their respective arms warehouses & automated factories, and double up on fighter/frigate/capital dockyards to speed production time, especially places like Kuat that can keep reinforcements coming at the front. And, while you're not exactly hurting for credits, maybe even sell redundant defenses in place of supply depots (such as on Kessel) to streamline your economy. From a lore perspective, you could treat it as the losses incurred at the Maw, Yaga Minor, and the ambush of your SSD as rebel leadership seeing the need to consolidate and restructure the war effort in light of heavier than expected resistance from a shrinking Empire.

I am glad The Maw is taken care of, and that the fight went well even with the pathfinding issue that occurred. The battle over Yaga Minor though, I am glad it's cleaned up and The Empire can no longer build Super Star Destroyers. The loss of Admiral Ackbar is painful, but you did lay the keel on two more Independence-class ships. I saw some things a few others commented that I agree with: I think you should spend time taking stock of where all your stuff is, as there are troops scattered across the galaxy not doing anything. I went ahead and looked back through the episode and found all of the troops that you have on worlds that are not on the front lines or guarding major infrastructure. You have guys on Nal Hutta, Honoghr, Kessel, Naboo, Tattooine, Raxus Prime, and Scipio. Moving those troops either to an assault army, or stationing them to defend a planet that is either critical infrastructure like a major shipyard or on the front lines would be worth doing. That on top of taking a look at existing armies and getting an idea of what they have in them would also allow you to potentially locate troops you wanted for specific ground forces you have in mind (Like Chewbacca's Wookiees for example) There is also a few Mon Cal Defender platoons on Mon Cala itself that you might consider sending to front line units. I also saw you queued up five of Kota's Militia Commandos, there is a max of five and you have one squad going with Leia and Kyle to Jaaku so one of the incoming squads will be invalidated if you don't cancel it and you go over the cap. Getting Luke Skywalker to join up with Rahm Kota to head to Illum and re-build the Jedi Temple might be a fun thing to do, having a few Jedi involved in the last push into The Core. Maybe in-universe a few Jedi have come out of hiding now that The Empire is on the back foot.

Home Ones loss would actually be a good narrative. After the fight at the Maw Acbar comes up with a crazy plan to reduce casualties for Yagar Minor. He goes in through the South drawing attention so that the fighters can destroy the golan platforms and space station, knowing the empire would have to trickle back in to fight that force. His ship and the screeners are armed with marines knowing that the ship won't last. Instead they use the debre to hide the escape pods and lead a ground force to make a landing on the surface for the rest of their forces. (Like how the seperatists use debre to hide their ground forces attacking Kamino)

Cerulean Aces Log: Week 334 At a staging ground above Kuat ... We took The Maw and Yaga Minor today. We had to slug it out with probably eight Star Destroyers across the two planets. They had massive shipyard operations underway on both. Taking it probably crippled their ship production, but these recent victories are coming with unacceptable losses. We lost two Dauntless dreadnoughts to force the Empire out of The Maw. I wish I could say that was the worst of it, but it wasn't. We lost Admiral Ackbar. The Imperial fleet at Yaga Minor cut him off from the rest of the fleet, surrounding him and pounding Home One into dust. I think pieces of the ship are still falling through the atmosphere like meteors. Damn bastards. The worst part about cornering the Empire is that we'll have to face more and more of their ships. The Maw and Yaga Minor were the last Imperial holdouts in this half of the Galaxy. The last of their forces are in the core, and probably another dozen Star Destroyers with it. They pushed the Bulwark's fleet out of Aargau today with a massive fleet. If this breakout operation works, they could spill out into the galaxy and ruin all our progress in the region. We took a heavy beating ourselves. Our frigate is still undergoing heavy repairs after debris from a dreadnought careened into its hull. There's probably still ten or twenty craters in the hull from torpedoes. I haven't lost faith, though. Alliance forces are massing at Kuat to retake Aargau as I'm writing this. It will be costly, but we will win this war.

Log no 1 now playing This is Captain NAME REDACTED of Warspite Venator class (Grand Old Lady.) First of it's been weeks since I've made a log. It looks like when Warspite was repaired at Kuat they missed something and at Aargau that missed thing caused all non essential equipment to be fried so now I have to restart the number of Logs I've made. Of course the reason I can now make this log is that well we where forced to retreat back to Kuat but not before we took out an ISD and Gladator. The good news the Maw is under our control but not without heavy casualties. However despite Yaga Minor's orbit now secured it sadly cost us Ackbar. He was a good man (or fish?), he will be missed. But now we can start focusing on the core. More importantly if we take Corellia and Byss we can permanently nock out the Empire's Capital ship production. Commanders Log: Commander Rylan “Saber 1” Brask. Alliance Fighter Squadron Lead [X-Wing Squadron: Callsign - Saber] I knew requesting leave was a bad idea, especially with what we’ve heard about The Maw. Hey, at least I’m a married man now. Saber and Rogue Squadrons got emergency orders from Ackbar. He wanted us at The Maw for the next assault. Me and Witt both told him we had no new X-Wings available to fly. He responded by giving us some of Bravo Flights N-1s. All I’ll say to that is we Corellians could learn a thing or two from Nabooian fighter tech. We took them straight from Naboo and went right to The Maw. Now I’ve seen massive Imperial Fleets in my time, I did fly during the Battle over Dathomir against Admiral Daala. But this fleet put her armada to shame. With a fleet that big and a playing field so limited, our orders were simple. We were to attack and go blow for blow against the Imperial Star Destroyers. Not a tactic I’d endorse but we didn’t have much a choice. Rogue and Sabers orders were just as simple. We were to attack and take down as many TIEs as we could while our capital ships duked it out. Gotta say I could get used to flying an N-1. Me and Commander Witton Bogre of Rogue Squadron were keeping pace with each other but stopped counting somewhere around 75 to 80 kills. I do feel it’s necessary to mention that it’s thanks to the skill and sacrifice of the crews of our Capital ships crews, that we won this day. Of course is typical Rebel fashion we had little down time as we were finally headed to Yaga Minor. I don’t think I’ve seen Rogue Squadrons spirits higher, after all their original flight lead Commander Wedge Antilles was held on that planet. The only obstacle between us and rescuing Wedge was the Imperial Eleventh Fleet. This fleet has been a pain in our ass for the past few years. Admiral Faro and Commodore Star are deadly threats, not to mention he has Spectre Squadron under his command. Seeing the defenses Ackbar determined that our best chance was to split the enemy fleet. That brave bastard used himself as bait and took a small force and lead the way through a local debris field. Saber and Rogue on the other hand had orders to lead Gold Squadron along with the rest of the bomber squadrons to hit the defense platforms. Unfortunately for us, it seems that somehow Star and Faro must’ve known we were there, as they were more than ready for us. Having drawn the ire of the Eleventh fleet, Ackbar found himself under fire from Spectre Squadron, and after having his engines destroyed found himself surrounded on all fronts. Despite that, Ackbar showed amazing bravery and resolve as he stood his ground and bought us time. Our squadrons were about to fly to the rescue but here came the “resolve” part. Ackbar ordered us to stay and finish our orders. He also apologized for leaving us on Atramenta without support. Then we lost contact. May the Force be with you, Admiral Ackbar. With the previous time granted to us with his sacrifice, we punched through the first and second defense lines and brought our reinforcements with us. Soon after the Imps launches their counterattack. Saber and Rogue were engaged by Spectre Squadron directly. Only this time we took them together and we were ready for them. I don’t think those pilots expected us to be flying fighters with our maneuverability. Now the intriguing part. Spectre Squadron was accompanied by standard TIEs but what’s even weirder is that I saw some TIE Defenders bearing a familiar paint job and their IFF confirmed them as Crimson Squadron. Why’s that weird you ask? Because for one, that Squadron flew TIE Hunters, not Defenders and for two, my squadron and I shot them all down on Vas. Unfortunately for the Imps we sent those TIEs to hell with same day shipping, except for Crimson Squadron which jumped out of system when the realized the fight wasn’t going their way. In the meantime Gold Squadron made short work of their ISDs. The Imps didn’t go without a fight however as they left quite a few of our ships as burning husks by the end of the fight. The Imperial Eleventh fleet is finally gone, hopefully for good this time. Now maybe Cal all the others who were downed by them can rest easy. Commander Brask, Out [END OF LOG]

Admiral's Log Admiral Davon Cress, CO of MC 80 'Independence' - Class "Phoenix" Alliance Phoenix Detachment I'm on my way back from Atramenta. Alliance command needed me back at the Phoenix, so I had to cut my stay there short. Things aren't looking too hot from where I'm standing. The third battle for The Maw. One hell of a conundrum for logistics. Alliance Southern Command was responsible for providing most of the reinforcements Ackbar needed. Admiral Carrick himself was rather reluctant on reassigning two of his Dauntlesses to the battle. Everyone knew that not a lot of guys were coming back. While the Imperial 15th Fleet was comprised of whatever captains and ships they had on hand at the time, they still outnumbered and outgunned us. The two previous battles all had insanely steep casualties, and with the third supposed to be the finishing blow? High losses weren't just expected, but maybe even inevitable. Ackbar jumped in first through that narrow space between asteroid fields. The plan was simple. The two Dauntlesses from Carrick's fleet were going to dish out the punches and soak up the fire for Home One, and a shield projector would buy them some time. We managed to get through the narrow space before engaging, making room for our Dauntlesses to get behind the enemy formation, putting a few ISDs out of formation. The Dauntlesses did their job, with both destroying an ISD and multiple escorts per ship. Unfortunately, we lost them both as the continued fire from the Golan platform and other ISDs finally forced the captains to give the order to abandon ship. The last ISD still in the battle was not however taken out by the main fleet. Instead, a small detachment comprised of only three of our MC 30 ships took on a Tector. All three punched way above their weight class, destroying the ship completely almost without support. Those three frigates alongside Home One and the rest of her escorts finally dealt the finishing blow to their last defensive station. Whatever the Empire had shortly retreated soon after. Rogue and Saber squadrons made short work of whatever TIEs they left behind. Well, it was a few days after the victory when Ackbar's fleet was given the greenlight to begin the assualt on Yaga Minor's shipyards. Home One was still quite damaged from the battle of the Maw, but Ackbar insisted that he lead the fight. The Imperial 11th Fleet, one of the Empire's most elite, was tasked with defending the shipyards. They had a reputation, all experienced captains who fought against the Rebel Alliance since the start of the war. Admiral Faro and Commodore Star were names you wouldn't want to hear as a rebel during the early days of the war. I know Ackbar has fought against many Imperial Admirals, but these two know rebel tactics like the back of their hand. However, Ackbar had a plan. He split his forces up, with Home One being the bait for their fleets, and the fighter force gunning for their defense stations. The 11th continued to fire upon Home One even as the Golan platform was set ablaze. Must've been the gigantic target on her back. As the imperial defense station went down, so did Ackbar's force. First, the screeners, then... Home One. Now, Ackbar had a plan even after the loss of his flagship. All the 11th could do now was trickle in to start engaging our forces. So, they did. Our reinforcements began to engage theirs as imperial casualties began to mount. We'd lose a few ships too, but much of the fleet had one goal at this point, avenging Ackbar. Admiral Faro and Commodore Star's ships were supposedly destroyed during the battle. Good riddance, they're not coming back anytime soon. What was left of their defenses were easy pickings for our fleet. With the orbital battle won, the ground battle was about to begin. Ackbar had one last trick up his sleeve, loading up Home One and the screeners with Marines. As the ships were destroyed, the debris from the ships would conceal the escape pods as they made their way onto the surface. So far, most of the units are scattered, but ready to initiate the operation. All they need now is the greenlight to commence. Ackbar however... it's not confirmed whether or not if he is alive or not. Rumors say he escaped on a shuttle, others say he went down with the ship. I'm hoping for the former. Either way, the loss of Home One may make the Bulwark the new flagship of the alliance. Never would I have imagined a star destroyer being our flagship, but here we are. As soon as I get back, I'm preparing the Phoenix for combat drills. Don't want the crew getting too lax at Ord Mantell. Without Home One, the Phoenix is likely to be assigned to some fleet somewhere. Given how high command is, it'll be a fleet that paints a big red target on our back. For now though, a bit of sleep myself on the Razgriz is in order. Need to get some rest before the coming storm, so for now, Admiral Cress, out.

Hapes Consortium space. SSD Lusankya. Admiral's Personal Log. I don't believe it in the slightest. Disaster has struck at the Rebellion. Whilst my current role in the Hapes Consortium situation is going well, despite having to destroy a few Battle Dragons, much to my displeasure, and Queen Salatana having kept her promise to aid us in our war, I have heard horrible news about the Fourth Battle of The Maw. A pyrrhic victory for the Alliance, but sadly, I must note in my log that both Home One and the Independence have both been destroyed, likely with all hands aboard both ships lost. Oh,Ackbar, my squid-headed friend.... WHY did you do what I personally asked you and your fellow captains and commodores to not do? I know how the Empire works, I know how the Hapes works. If you guys don't trust me, then when my Hapes Campaign is finished, I will have to take direct command over all Rebel forces fighting the Empire whilst my newly promoted Admiral Shack handles the Black Sun war effort. This isn't how I wanted to promote you, Shack, but I have no choice now. When you receive this log, bring the Liberation to Yavin. Lusankya and I will be waiting with Star Force One and the other surviving Rebel ships, who will now be under your direct command as Star Force Two. Congratulations, Admiral Shack. You have earned this. Fight for Ackbar and our lost allies. Fight hard, die well. This is Admiral Ventaros of the Lusankya, signing out. *END LOG.*

Rebel Diaries 56 - I feel strange and guilty with this... For, I'm not usually one to be involved with these diary entries on the Alliances activities. I'm not a Jedi like Skywalker or Kota, and thus hold no symbolic value. I'm not a great politician as Mon Mothma or Princess Leia are... I'm not a great military mind as General Rieekan and General Madine are... and Admiral Ackbar was. Yes... was. Let me explain... The fight at the Maw was ultimately victorious and we had to pull in ships from the Southern Fleet to get the ships that could take the raw damage that the Imperials could dish out on us there. And it did work. The Maw is clear and we were able to count a large number of hulks being sucked into the Maw's black holes before we were able to see to some sensor and construction stations being built... and with the rest of the space lanes there being under our control, the Imperials won't be able to set up their research bases. Though the Bothans seemed interested in building their own construction and research bases there too... That's all strange. But from there, as we were reinforced with fighters from other shipyards and the High Command wanted the combined Northern and Eastern fleets to finish off the Imperial hold on worlds like the Maw and Yaga Minor, to my shame, I had an idea. For a big part of the fight at the Maw was a terrible bottleneck that forced us to rely on heavy ships. Yaga Minor was far more open and I had the idea that the fleet could strike in two directions. Admiral Ackbar would take a small collection of escorts down the southern line of the orbit while I lead the bulk of our fighters and we could then destroy the Imperial stations on the northern line of the orbit and essentially pin the Imperial defense fleet between us, as the Imperials have seemed to be rather plodding... speed doesn't work for them, and that's something that's shown in their fight at the Maw and their attack on the orbit of Aargau. They attacked their with a large fleet, likely hoping to destroy the Bulwark before we could land troops there. And while the Bulwark did take damage and one or two light ships were damaged, the Imperials lost one Star Destroyer and several escorting ships before the fleet withdrew and showing how much speed doesn't matter to the Empire. Thus, I urged the division in the Yaga Minor attack and giving my pilots the chance to shine and show their value in a major victory, particularly given how well Yaga Minor's orbit was fortified. They can't track our fighters well and we'd need to spend an inordinate amount of time with heavy ships to besiege them. Ackbar protested that it was all fine in theory, but while the Empire was strong enough that speed might not be an issue. Enough TIE fighters could overwhelm our X and A Wings and once in position, their Star Destroyers could do a lot of damage. He even pointed to the fight at Aargau as a proof of point. While the Bulwark did a lot of damage and took out a lot of the Imperial fleet, it had also taken heavy damage in the fight will need time in Kaut's repair yards. Thus, with our forces divided, either of us would be alone, or if the Empire focused on him, Home One wouldn't be fast enough to escape... But arrogantly, I persisted... that the loss of the Golan Stations would be quick and that would force the Empire to turn around and we could run away... or that we'd destroy things so quickly that we could rescue Ackbar in time. Eventually the Mon Calamari admiral gave in... and then the attack came. I'm pleased to report that the pilots did what I expected to be able to do. Take out the Imperial stations with little damage to them. That was a triumph. But the Empire focused the bulk of their fleet on Home One and the last I heard from it was Ackbar yelling "Neva" over the radio before being replaced by static. And it was there... there that I knew that my idea killed him. I'd killed the best admiral we have in the Alliance and the best military mind to defeat the Empire. I killed him with a bad idea... It makes the victory over the stations over Yaga Minor painful, and I can only say that I'm sorry and promise never to have an independent idea again. - Captain Huobo Neva

Eleventh Fleet Journal Week 334 - In route to Tanarith Commodore Elias Star "The Battle for Yaga Minor" So this is it. The end of our war. Yaga Minor is lost to us now. All our work destoryed. We followed our orders to the letter and defended Yaga Minor to the best of our abilities. While we may have suffered a serious defeat, I can take comfort in the fact that we dealt a serious blow to the Rebellion. The death of Admiral Ackbar will be felt throughout the entire Rebellion. It won't turn the tide of the war but it will slow them down and hopefully that'll be a great boost to the Grand Admiral's plans. We set the trap and the rebel Admiral fell right into it. Figuring that the Rebels would try to draw us away from our defenses, I had placed my best TIE defender squadron, Spectre, in the local recycling debris field and had them wait for any rebels to move in. What I didn't count on was that Ackbar himself would move in. While I was reluctant to give the Rebels what they wanted, the possibility of taking out Ackbar was too great. So I gave the order to move in and surround him. With Spectre having disabled his engines he made easy prey and soon every gun in the fleet was trained on the Rebel Admiral. The stubborn Mon Calamari ship held out longer than I'd of liked but in the end he couldn't withstand our might and was obliterated. Spectre Squadron hunted down any escape pods and ensured our victory was absolute. Unfortunately as predicted, the Rebels hit our defense lines and punched through thanks to Rogue and Saber squadrons. Those piolts have been the most challenging opponents I've ever faced. Regrouping, we counterattacked but it was ultimately for nought. The rebel fighter squadrons and capital shis were too numerous. We fought on and inflicted serous casualties but we couldn't hold back Rogue Squadron. They even managed to fight back Spectre squadron this time and when that happened, the battle was lost. The ISD Deceiver was destroyed along with most of our escorts. I can't describe how proud I am of the men and women under my command. They fought valiantly and to the highest standards of the Imperial Navy. I only regret I had to lose so many. The Darkstar suffered serious damage too and after staying until the last possible second, we enacted our plan of escape. Setting our reactor core to self destruct, we ejected it and used our back up emergency core to hyperspace away just as it exploded. The massive fireball covered our retreat and left the Rebels, as well as the Empire, none the wiser. We're currently in route to Tanarith as per Grand Admiral Thrawn's orders. From there we will repair and then set out to join the Grand Admiral's fleet in the unknown regions. Leaving the Empire, as well as my family behind is going to be tough, but the Admiral needs us. If we're to ultimately save the Empire, we have to leave. One day we will return with the Grand Admiral and drive this Rebellion from the face of the galaxy once and for all. We must if we want to save the galaxy from what's coming. Commodore Elias Star. ISD Darkstar.

This comment is pretty late and I dunno how far out these episodes are recorded in advance but one thing I found during my own playthroughs is that for the really big ships like SSDs and some of the later Star Destroyer variants is that directly attacking the hull is better than going for hardpoints. They fire such massive, long cooldown volleys that a lot of damage is lost as they hit already destroyed hardpoints. But there's nothing quite like watching a trio of Imperial IIs take down a Mon Calamari capital ship with just a few barrages to the main body of the vessel.

I have to say, over the years, your love of the hammerhead has rubbed off on me. I liked it after initially seeing it, but it was to the extent of "yeah, it's a cool ship" it has grown to 1 of my favorite ships. (there was a brief 5 months where several of my friends that enjoy star wars and table top games all had our schedules align, so the Ghotroc 720 will always hold a special place for me, unfortunately that group fell apart due to a lot of unforeseen circumstances occurring in the lives of nearly every party member, self included) now onto my in character comment *ahem* *Being Transmission* Captain Shack The loss of Home One, and its commanding officer, Admiral Ackbar was certainly devastating. However captain, while it was your plan, don't beat yourself up about this too much. Admiral Ackbar, was just that, an admiral. if he didn't believe in your plan, and thought there was a better way, he'd have over ruled you. External communication were out for Home One after sustaining damage, but retrieving the ship's blackbox seemed to shed some light onto what the admiral was thinking, or at least, relaying to his crew. Yaga Minor needed to be taken, and retreating would've given the empire too much time to prepare and react. The destruction of the admiral's ship did exactly what he wanted you to do, draw you into finishing the fight here and now. He and his crew are heroes as well as others lost in the battle. But this opens a new opportunity. I see 2 primary objectives set in front of us at this time after securing the ground of Yaga Minor, both of which complete the ultimate objective you are tasked with of Secure the Rim. 1. We need to free Ace, who is pivotal to the plan for Zhar. Admittedly, Rebel command hasn't given me too much intel on what this plan is, but they assure me there is one. 2. We both served during the Clone Wars under the Republic, working along side great Jedi, speaking of great heroes being lost, if Luke truly believes he can bring back the age of heroic Jedi, I say we give him another shot at taking Illum, and the worlds along the way. Lastly and I apologize if this sours the mood further, it is disturbing just how quiet news regarding your bother Shed has been. He was a "hero" to the Republic that had gotten close to Emperor Palpatine, at the time Chancellor, and Tarkin. We know what happened to Tarkin, but reports showed Shed being active after the destruction of the Death Star, and then all quiet. He is a tactician equivalent to you, maybe a tad more effective as he seems to have adopted the empire's outlook on not caring about the soldier he sends into battle. Maybe we were lucky and he was overseeing the operations at the Maw or some place we've already attacked, but I feel we'd have heard something with us actively looking. Best of luck to you Captain, if you need assistance with ground troops, be sure to let me know. The boys of my artillery company and my aerial scout units are getting bored securing back line worlds, and artillery isn't going to be effective against a raiding party. Lieutenant Jester, out **End Transmission** (if you're wondering why I used the name Jester instead of my youtube screen name of Pilot, I've begun to go by JesterandJudge on twitch and various other services)

Rogue Squadron Journal Week 334 - Yaga Minor Cmdr. Witton Bogre - Rogue Leader "The Battle for Yaga Minor" While taking some much needed leave to attend Commander Rylan Brask's wedding on Nabbo, we received a message from Admiral Ackbar calling us to join him at the Maw. Informing him that we had no new X-wings issued to fly after our battle on Atramenta, he arranged for both Rogue and Saber squadrons to fly N-1's from Bravo Flight. Cutting our leave short by a day, we set off towards the Maw with other reinforcements. When they said that the Imperial fleet there was massive, they weren't kidding. I don't think I'd seen that many destoryers since Admiral Dalla at Dathomir. The tactic was simple, attack. Move into the fray and trade blow for blow. Normally I'd be against such a plan but given the terrain and the size of the Imp fleet, we had no other option. Rogue and Saber's job was even more simple, shoot TIEs. There were hundreds that filled the space around the giant ships trading hits. Initially Rylan and I were keeping a tally, but somewhere around 75 to each of us we stopped caring. Enough cannot be said about the capital ship crews, they preformed the best and it was thanks to their skill and sacrifice that we prevailed and destroyed the entire imperial fleet. Naturally though, we had little time to rest after as Ackbar ordered us north to Yaga Minor. Rogue Squadron couldn't of been happier though. Finally we were going to save Wedge. Unfortunately we had to go through the last of the vaunted Imperial Eleventh Fleet first. The same fleet Rogue Squadron has been battling for the last couple of years. Admiral Faro and Commodore Star would not give up so easily. Ackbar determined that in order to break through the defenses, the enemy fleet would have to be pulled away. To accomplish this he used himself as bait, taking a small force to navigate the local debris fields. Meanwhile Rogue and Saber would lead Gold squadron and all other available bombers to hit the defense platforms. Unfortunately the imperials were ready for us and moved fast. As Home One moved into the attack it was hit by Spectre squadron, striking from the debris field on the unaware Admiral and destroying his engines. While the Admiral did succeed in drawing away the fleet and giving us our opening, he soon found himself surrounded by the entire Eleventh Fleet. Trapped, Ackbar stood his ground and bought us time. Rogue and Saber were about to disregard our orders and go to his aid but even as his ship was detonating around him he ordered us to stay and complete our mission. Apologizing for leaving us alone on Atramenta in our time of need. That was his last transmission before we lost contact. He had done his job, we broke through the first and second defense line and brought up reinforcements. Soon enough though the Imps reorganized and counterattacked. The following encampment went our way as both Rogue and Saber dueled Spectre squadron together this time and sent them and all the other TIEs screaming into the void. Gold squadron meanwhile made short work of the ISD's. Unfortunately those Imps were good too and destroyed several more of our ships before they broke apart. The Imperial Eleventh Fleet is no more and those Imps who've caused us so much trouble are finally gone. Good riddance. The spirits of our fallen Rogues can sleep soundly tonight and come tomorrow, we'll have Wedge back. Thank the Force.

@@johnlanderglea6120Thank you! If you liked this be sure to look for another one I did from the imperial perspective. It's a one off from the point of view of my old imperial character from the last Empire campaign that I brought into this one. Just sort by new and you should find it. Again, thank you for reading and I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Hey, Witton. Remember me? Cerulean 1? I just wanted to say I'm so sorry for what happened in the Rim. I wasn't there to see the horror, but I know it was bad. Hey, at least the Eleventh Fleet is gone. I'm currently at Kuat with the Bulwark and maybe three dozen other capital ships. We'll finish these bastards off for good on day. I'm hoping you make it to Coruscant with us. I bet you'd be happy to see the Emperor's palace with an Alliance flag flying over it. Hope you and Rogue Squadron stay safe. Best of luck to you in the Rim. See you at Coruscant. -Cerulean 1

@@GameStrider-z4u Witton: "Thanks Cerulean. We'll hopefully be heading to the Core soon enough. In the meantime be careful around a B-wing squadron called Lancer. They're under a guy called Zane. Real arrogant bunch but good piolts. Best to avoid them, they don't take too well to competition. Good luck."

Yaga Minor was a costly battle for you not the Empire. That would definitely result in an inquiry.

You moved your ships forward into the Maw at 11:00 and I went "WHY?! Use the bottleneck against the enemy, your flanks are defended against capital ships and the ships in your formation can cover each other from starfighers. Also, you can jump out without escaping the gravity well of the black holes if you do not go in much deeper. I do not think the benefits of having more room to maneuver outweigh the risk you are taking by abandoning your kill zone in order to enter the enemy´s. Not to mention you go closer to stations and golans and the reinforcements they provide." And then you proceed to wreck the opposition by maneuvering the big ships as tanks and small cruisers as flanking forces. Shows the difference in experience I guess. ... And then you just throw away Home One. As if you did not have another ship that could have drag the attention away from Golans in that huge stack of a fleet.

I still think you should be using more of those heavy bombers, the ones with the splash damage; they might not be so effective against ships, particularly faster ones, but against stations having a few flights spread their damage out can tear hardpoints apart in no time.

I really reccomend that you use the Mc80a artillery vessels to prioritize tge hull of star destroyers and not the subsystems. The long range missiles damage is much better spent alfa strike the isds hull.

Why dont i ever see the raider class corvette for the empire ever being made? I like it, it's a teeny baby isd! With tiny guns to match

I want to see collisions in general have consequences. Easy balance for tight fleet formations? Don't let ships clip through each other, have them crash, including when they're destroyed and the husk is falling apart, you should need to evade debris and wreckage, along with having the option to ram, or the danger of ramming.

Cpt Shack, Admiral Ackbar ALREADY said about "Be aware of traps!" AND that was totally trap. That's why I only crack 2 or 3 of the shipyards in single system. If we go back, we can come together.
