Awakenings Reflections: Dis/Mantle, Part 1 with Gordon Shadrach, lead artist of Dis/Mantle.
Dis/Mantle art exhibit is a reimagining of Spadina House utilizing an Afrofuturistic narrative. An immersive experience using portraiture, decorative arts, performance and sound bringing forth the under-represented history of Black people in Toronto, the exhibit is inspired by the efforts of Black Abolitionists.
