I felt as though there was a metaphor, like she was afraid of growing up. Like although she loved her toys and wouldn't want to leave them, she knew that she couldn't stay with them forever. She had to face the storm, the tough challenges ahead of her and finally accept to be an adult. Honestly don't know, just spitballing.

It's not just the childhood. In our life, people come and go. Sometimes most beloved ones leave us for no reason but we keep ourselves attached to them. Life needs to move on anyway. we must learn to let go of things that are no longer part of our life.

you can be partly wrong at the same time cause moving onn is not an answer for everything the people who we loved if they left it is the will of god but our role is to pray for them and always keep them alive in our hearts trust me i have lost my father when i was 9 i am 14 now i have learned lots of things in my life and one thing is that we shoukd never move onn.... this is just my point of view...

A lot of people in the comments say that this was ‘scary’, or the animation was.... Maybe that was the point? To express that growing up can be scary, and life itself can be, too?

Growth is not scary ,perhaps the doubt we show towards growth is.And thats why the barren setting of the video turns a beautiful ocean towards the end of the video. Probably establishing the hamonious balance btwn childhood and adulthood( b'coz though adult , the girl flies paper plane)

I understood that she wants to face the struggle of her life represented in the storm, she faced it with a great courage. Although she had dropped, she found her property came back in an incredible, interesting and amazing scene which she would benefit an unexpected advantages from them " her toys " At final she became a wise old woman enjoying with the sea after facing struggles through her whole life.

It is hard. But for everything you have to give up, you gain three more as an adult. More personal freedom, more respect for your opinions and thoughts, and more privacy! It all comes rather slowly, giving you time to get used to it all, and more and more stuff is added as you grow older. By the time you reach 21 years of age, it will all feel as though it's always been that way! At around age 60, you'll find things chance yet again -- and if you've played the game correctly (and life IS a game), you should be sitting pretty as far as possessions go; a home, cars, boats, land maybe or a cabin, vacations annually, etc etc in return for the 45+ years of work you've contributed! The world today is NOTHING like it was when I grew up, but in some ways, there are fundamentals that have not changed. Find your niche, study, do your best and life will reward your dedication. Things you never thought of will suddenly be very importantly and you'll be happy you paid attention to what REALLY mattered: doing the right things. First and always.

But...it doesn't mean that we're not going to be doing dumb stuff like when we were kids. I had to grow up fast at the age of 7...and I haven't had the greatest childhood experience ever but I still feel like a kid every day of my club in I'm living and loving it. Hell I have the same stuff animal and blanket when I was a little baby.....so just because we're growing up doesn't mean that the fun ends there. Because if there's one thing I know is don't ever lose your child like wonder.

Hard to say anything. I saw this for the 1st time the day before yesterday. I was thinking about my feelings, my current fights, emotional crisis in my life and I realized that this is about me. I am so attached to my inner child, to my childhood and the adult life outside is cold and cruel. For me, it also represents the way I escape to my imagination and dreams. To my own world. Thank you for this piece of art.

Creative and thought-provoking film about this journey called life from childhood to adulthood. Cherishing our childhood fantasies, facing our fears and struggles with courage and determination, enjoying the moments along the way, letting go of attachments and the people we leave behind, and facing our future with faith and surrender in what lies ahead. Very tastefully and artfully done. - Director, Lowson International Studios

This story felt me deeper.....And this is the reality of our life, we always afraid of facing challenges in our life, we always wanted to spend our life with our loved once, with in our dreams & imaginations but we just forgets that there is a practical life that we have to step in......we afraid to face that stage, we afraid to leave our childhood.....I'm also a teenager and am at the end of my teenage.....I'm going to be 18 now and I've already faced a lot of challenges and lots of them are ahead. I was also afraid of facing all this but now I feel, now I understand that we have to accept this reality and have step into this life, cause at this stage we learn about the life that what this life actually is, we to fight for ourselves, learn to face the challenges of our life. And this stage is essential for us......... Now I love it....I love my adulthood because I'm starting a practical life. I'm learning to about myself, about my life, about the Aim of my life.........I'm growing up.....!!!!!!!!!

Often the wind is used to indicate destiny or fate, and letting go of one's toys is nearly always an indication of the giving up of the innocence of childhood and, perhaps, the clothesline might indicate service to one's family and home. I agree with Gisselle Reveles.

Growing up it is easy to stay attached to what one knows & what has been a part of our lives for so long but when reality hit her in the face when she landed on the sand you can tell she no longer was a child. Growing older does that. One year you're innocent & carefree & the next it's like I am a woman now (women will understand this).

1. The wordless singing at the beginning of the film made me feel like a child's soul was oppressed and not free, because children always dance and sing with lyrics even though it's meaningless. 2. In every difficulty, children always use their imagination and have fun in the storm. But that is only temporary pollution for adults, they have to face the truth, the storm. That way, adults can go through storms and create new dreams and hopes for the future, just like childhood has done for the present.

Thank You for this. I've been struggling and I found this so exquisite - When a film makes me cry and I don't know why it is such a sweet and rare feeling. Thank you. Somehow I found this comforting. I think it is a lovely wee Masterpiece. Inspiring, in an odd way. I wish I could create like this. I feel the love that went into this, Thank you.

@@doctorzeenat495 OMG I am so sorry I just read you comment now on 9th July 2021 Friday!!! My humble apologies. I am sure there must be much better explanations but this is what I understood: She loved her childhood and her toys but was afraid to accept changes in life such as growing up / adulthood etc. Nevertheless she faced her fears and the storms and challenges in her life and leaned to let things go and be happy with the present!!!!

The important thing we want to learn from this story is childhood life is like a heaven we have lot of friends we don't have either one enemy no one wants to be old but the truth is everyone is to be old oneday we have to face our own problems by ourself no one will stand up for yourself except you. may be our friends and our parents can support us so don't afraid of your problems of being old. face the problem by yourself. live in reality not is reel

I got this video as 1st in you tube... I feel so connected with the video... In video all the toys are the items I feel ... in Life.. .. the options in happiness survey form.... job, health, wealth, family, society, relationships..... Striving for them n protecting them... n one by one u leave them... or they leave u... when nature blows the wind... in the direction SHE wants u to float into... The last possession the paper with directions or map in a desert.. n even that she throws... off... I don't need it... nature or Self will guide me... 😇😇😇 I am sure... the person who created this video is I spiritual path... and Lily is the character of his or her own personna... n the journey

For me i think it is about fighting depression and suicidal ideation and for a part overcoming or healing from that and living with mental health issues. Animation is art i think this is a masterpiece no mather what you see or feel watching it, it goes deep 🙂

Read all comments about kids letting go of childhood. I thought this is some kind of a look into the minds of kids in war torn countries. How they try to escape from chaotic reality. The end shows how to have faith and hope. 😔
