The extra-small camera cube is primarily designed for compact setups; it may be a bit snug for an A7iii and a 50f1.4, and you may need to remove the two dividers. To ensure a proper fit and protection, we'd recommend considering the SMedium.

With the Smedium size, can you open the camer cube and let the opening face one of the side openings of the Travel Backpack 45L? And will there be correctly positioned loops for the C-Clips? I know you can do that with the Small size camera cube. i.e. face it to one of the bag's side openings.

do you think I can fit 3 APS-C sized lenses safely into the X-SMALL bag? (9-10 cm in lenght or 4 inches)

The lenses on their own if they are primes should fit. But think of the XS bag as a smaller peak design 6l sling which barely fits camera and 2 zoom lenses.
