Beautiful fish, though I'm a bit disturbed by the haphazard use of antibiotics. We really shouldn't be using antibiotics as a safety measure. it should be used as a treatment and sparingly. This is how mutant strains of resistant bacteria are created.

Its why in places like Europe that sort of behaviour is not allowed. Here in the UK, we cant even get general cure, and I completely agree with it.
@Andreas-gh6is
@Andreas-gh6is 3 жыл бұрын
Actually it's not really a safety measure. They probably need it at those densities and would notice its lack quickly. Not sure about discus fish, but many live stock will grow faster when given antibiotics just in general. Luckily this particular medication is not that important to Human medicine.

It's not haphazard, it's intentional and required. Perhaps one day if you learn to breed at scale, you'll also do the study into these ABs and their negative, or there lack of , consequences

GOD the Creator of Heaven and Earth says in HIS Holy Word...ALL THINGS WERE CREATED FOR ME AND BY ME ALL THINGS EXSIST. The breathe of Life is in them. JEHOVA YAWEH SAYS ALL THINGS ARE MINE UNDER THE HEAVENS! Man may mess with things But the Lord is sovereign over all. GOD also gave man the earth to rule govern and have dominion on the earth of the fish birds etc.... JESUS LOVES YOU yes things may not be perfect we live in a fallen state i agree. THELORDS PLAN STILL GOES ON! JESUS DIED FOR US ALL! Man is excedingly wicked without Christ Jesus in there Lives. Christ Jesus will set up His Full Kingdom Physically. Its a spirtiual kingdom inside us that believe and have excepted Him into our Hearts and recied His Loving Mercy and Grace! Sin has made a mess but the cross of Christ and His Death and Resurection has giving us Life and Life Abundantly! There are Good Things Here on the Earth for us to Enjoy to show GODs AWESOME POWER if we choose to see those things! You exsist and I exsist and GOD knew me and you were going to talk long before things were ever created. I hope you have recieved His gift of Salvation. I will be Praying for you. In the mean time choose to see the good in life not the negitive and uglyness. I was half asleep when i wrote this. GOD Bless You and Jesus Loves You So Very Much and You Are Very Special and Made in His Likeness! Have a Blessed day! MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU AND YOURS!

@@matthewpicklesimer293 Now, had you stayed on point we may have had a nice discussion about our differing realities. Something Americans seem to have lost the ability to do. Which is a shame, because our differences are the strength of this country, and always have been. But you went all caps and nonsensical, so away we go! Ok, so you'd rather not talk about how selective breeding is actually artificial selection, and how the fact that fish live longer in our tanks now than in the wild and in broader parameters than they used to. I understand that, because that is seeing the result of evolution at work, as the opposite used to be true. I can understand how that could be difficult to discuss when you're only working out of one book. Using one book from 2000 years ago which is continually interpreted thousands of ways is not more accurate than the thousands of books that are interpreted one way, which build on one another, which led to the device you used to type that message. And, about that comprehension thing, would you like to comment on the story of Babel? Your god put all the languages on Earth, a laughable idea, because he was scared of it's height. Odd, that an omniscient omnipresence would have to resort to a patch to fix a mistake. But if he's capable of that- if he created all the languages- why do we keep updating the Bible? Wouldn't he know how to speak in such a way that we'd all understand? After all, he knows all right? Then he can predict the changes in the living languages. I'm not talking the lessons here, I'm talking language. It doesn't seem like you would need a miracle for people to speak different languages. Just work backwards in literature and you can see the changes in the languages. If he's outside of time, then prediction should be easy. Not to mention all the Chinese writing from before that time period tends to disprove the whole concept, but that's less interesting. Religion has made a mess of the world. That's not fair.... religion has been one of the major forces in making a mess of the world. Name one secular terrorist organization. Oh, wait, that doesn't exist. Probably because the meek humanists are waiting to see what's left of the world when the religious stop killing each other over interpretations of an invisible silent man in the sky. Ok, but you're right, since our nation is founded on Christianity(as y'all like to claim) clearly we should have longer lives, and less criminals. Oh, we don't? Well then at least the christians should, oh they don't? Well then the criminals are surely all nonreligious. Wait, most of them are actually believers? And disproportionately taken from more religious neighborhoods? How do you feel about antibiotics? I'd suggest you throw them away. They're another prime example of evolution, utilized by science, making the world better. In my humble opinion, less suffering is better. And science is what's causing less suffering, at least of people. Merry Christmas to you. And, happy Saturnalia, and solstice. You do realize yours wasn't the only holiday at this time, right? I assume you know celebrating in December is done because of the Catholics, the original Christians, way before King Henry 8 and Martin Luther. They changed the holiday to this time of year in order to recruit the pagans. You're aware of your history right? I mean to have the gall to say all you did and then finish like that is like challenging someone to tell you the history of your own faith. Which, it seems modern American christians like to just delete, delete, delete when it comes to recorded(anything) history.

Beautiful Discus. I wonder what they do with the water that’s full of antibiotics? Do they filter it out or just put it down the drain? We could do with knowing things about their husbandry so that we don’t contribute to trashing their environment. Thanks Cory.

Okay I'm really considering becoming a member for two years just because. You give a lot of great information for free and I really enjoy your Channel. I know I give you a hard time, from time to time but it's all in good fun and I'm glad you understand and I enjoy your replies as they are equally funny on a certain level. In addition to becoming a member for two years I am also considering four bottles of easy green, and I would also like a sponge filter but I am unsure what size to get. I run a Fluval 406 on my tank and I would like a sponge filter to fit over the intake. As a matter of fact I would like about three or four of them but I don't know what size to get and it needs to have a hole on one end and not on the other I'm sure you know what I'm talkin about. And by the way is this really Corey responding to my comments? I have a 55 gallon running on a Fluval 406 and a hang on back as well so filtration is no problem. Actually I have the most amazing 55 gallon in Texas. So with all that said I am considering about four bottles of easy green I need for sponge filters which I don't know what size to get and I am relying on your magnificence to tell me what size I need to fit over my Fluval 406 intake, and I also want to get about two dozen plants as well with this order. Also I would like to have it shipt as quickly as possible overnight whatever you have to do so that all of it is delivered on a certain day. I work all over the country from Thursday until Monday morning and I need it to be delivered on a Tuesday as early as possible. is all of this possible and can you help me and deliver on time? If so then you have a new member for the next two years! again thank you for all you do, and thank you for not blocking me when I give you a hard time LOL all in good fun.
