Just stumbled over this. It´s heartbreaking that we still see this happen around the world. Even if this is from some years ago, it´s still as accurate, and it brakes my heart. Yes I´m priviledged as a white, heterosexual women living in Sweden. But that don´t take away the fact that it scares me to see so many rightwing parties growing here in Europe (and Sweden), and that I do everything I can to take the fight and stand up for everyone, regardless who they love or what colour their skin have. Thank you so much for this shortfilm. It is still as important as when it was made. Love is love!!!

Thank you so much for this video, i’m glad you made this. It’s really inspiring and i learn a lot from this. That there’s nothing wrong of being gay, I didn’t choose to be gay I just feel it and i don’t want to change it. I’m proud of who i am. I just come out to my family way back 2017 and they really cool about it. But some of my friends relatives are not ok with it but at least my family is accepting me. To all gay who still in the closet, just don’t rush anything. You will feel it when you are ready to come out already. Just be your self and everything will be ok. Just don’t mind what people think or say about you, they have nothing to do with you/us. Excelente cortometraje basado en un suceso real por discriminación homoparental (homosexual). A decir verdad, estas familias no comunes como la mayoría (heterosexual) son muy discriminadas por los católicos radicales y deja mucho que desear si ellos predican y fomentan paz, respeto y amor. Hasta hace poco el Papa Benedicto I dijo que el que humilla y maltrata a los homosexuales no tiene corazón. Pues ahí tienen católicos, él lo dijo. Se entiende sus posturas respeto a la homosexualidad y que no están obligados a aceptarla, pero si tanto predican respeto y benevolencia, no sólo se dice, se hace. Este mundo es diverso, si no te adaptas o tratas por estar en paz contigo y con los demás, entonces mucho no se puede hacer si no pones de tu parte por estar en paz con todos.

um...okaaay.... so when u sent your child to a catholic school, what did u think exactly they were going to teach in that school? what type of people did you think usually send their children to catholic school? and what kind of culture do you think would there be in that school? i would say, the blame lies with the parents who didn't think thoroughly what the child would go through by sending the child to a catholic school just because the school is "very close to home". and after they knew the child was humiliated in school assembly, they had to wait and go on tv instead of getting that child out of that school a.s.a.p. and of course they get to be the "heroes" when it was them who allowed this to happen to their child in the first place.

Que mal ejemplo de un colegio Cristiano de los principios cristianos . Esto significa que la institución no entiende bien cuál es su rol y lo vemos con la aseptación de la pedofilia dentro de la institución . Que yo sepa la biblia no habla de la homosexualidad ,de lo que si hablara de la práctica sexual que convierte a la persona en objeto y asta allí; en realidad prefiero mirar a la naturaleza y a las más de 500 especies del mundo animal que practican la homosexualidad . Si tomamos la sexualidad tan solo para tener hijos las parejas deberían tener un hijo por año y no lo tienen ,entonces mí pregunta es ¿Para que son parejas?, además los matrimonios heterosexuales deberían separarse cuando no puedan procrear más ,sino ¿Para que siguen siendo pareja y porque seguirían acostándose juntos y teniendo sexo???, ¿Que hay de los varones que abandonan a sus hijos y conque derecho lo hace ?.

De igual manera te cuento que Katty Kowaleczko ganó 4 premios de mejor actriz por este corto! Dos en Chile, uno en Estados Unidos y uno en Inglaterra. Pero te entiendo totalmente, a mucha gente por ejemplo, no le gustó la actuación de Daniela Vega en "Una Mujer Fantástica". Al fin y al cabo, es subjetivo. Gracias por ver! Un abrazo

Adriana tiene algo de razón, el tema es actual y muy bueno, sin embargo, para ser importante la actuación fue fría, sin emociones, faltó de todo, son personas, no títeres ni niños leyendo un libreto. Me encantó que abordaran este tema, parece un gran libreto con páginas vacías.

El teatro es la exageración, la televisión es la sobre-actuación y el cine de este tipo (basado en hechos reales) tiene una tendencia a la expresión sutil. De hecho si te fijas en festivales de cine o los mismos Oscar, éste tipo de actuación es la que prima. Igual como decía, todo es muy subjetivo! Te recomiendo las películas SPOTLIGHT (ganadora del Oscar a mejor película 2016) y IDA (mejor película extranjera 2014)

@ agradezco tu educada respuesta a mi comentario, la verdad esperaba ( de la gente en general ) malas palabras y agresividad en sus comentarios, y sí, tienes mucha razón, la cuestión era que a mí parecer le faltó humanidad" no somos tan planos en los sentimientos aunque sea basada en hechos reales. He visto IDA y unas cuantas películas y cortos así, y siento que me quedan palabra ahogadas y sentimientos reprimidos.

@ Estoy de acuerdo con los comentarios, poner como referente los premios de la academia no sé si sea lo mejor, al final no deja de ser una mafia que paga cuotas (de color, temas sino porque estuvo Pantera Negra nominada a mejor película?, nacionalidad, etc) las mujeres parecen de cartón, no transmiten ningún sentimiento, actuaciones totalmente planas, reacciones súper pasivas a las cosas, hasta las "discusiones" parecía que les daba flojera hablar. Si con esa actitud se hubiera luchado por los derechos, no se tendría ninguno ganado. Hasta parece que están "actuando" a la fuerza en el corto. Tengo amigas chilenas y jamás las he escuchado hablar con esa parsimonia, menos ante algo injusto, se caracterizan por su agudeza mental, por una chispa al hablar. Pero vi el corto con la misma actitud plana, hay anuncios comerciales que me hacen sentir más, sea lo que sea, alegría, enojo, risa, etc. Creo el corto se lo lleva la niña, la actuación más genuina.
