Private operators tend to decrease their transmit power as soon as they get info of DOT inspection. There is no such procedure that DoT inspect a surprise visit to catch them red handed..

This is true, jio tower installed near my house.. I use Jio sim and I had called for inspection from Tarang Sanchar.. I observe that network which use to show 4 points was showing only 2 points when they came for inspection… Don’t trust these DoT authorities they are working together with telecom providers..

You can get further information like radiation limit, scientific research, court verdicts etc on www.tarangsanchar.gov.in. You can also check the radiation value on any tower in India on this portal. To add further, India has already reduced its max. Safe radiation limit to 1/10 of International standards i.e. 10 times more stringent than International Standards. Further, one can also make a request for checking the radiation value at any place by paying fee on the portal.

I had called tarang sanchar for emf check near my plot which is opposite to Jio tower, network use to show 4 points in mobile all the time, when they came from inspection on that day it was showing only 2 points.. So never trust these people from DoT..
