I was recently in a car crash while my 9 week old pomeranian was in this thing. I am so glad I got it. It's expensive, yes. But, it has these really good plastic clips at the front which means you can belt it in. He yelped with fright, but he was totally fine. It is a good mix of soft but rigid. I had a concussion and whiplash, and the dog was totally fine and all cleared by the vet. Overall, very happy with it - it's also very well made etc.

I got mine when Away did their test run and offered a bandana, stuffed toy, and collapsible water bowl. It was one hell of a promo they did then!

What are the dimensions and weight of this carrier? Also, is it airline-approved for under seat, in-cabin use?

Hi. Thanks for watching! According to the information on Away's website, the dimensions are 18.7" x 10.8" x 10.75" and it weighs 4.3 lbs with shoulder strap or 3.9 lbs without it. Away's website indicates that its pet carrier "meets Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) requirements."
