Rooks and crows only swarm if there's a dead one on the ground. Jackdaws however do swarm or murmur in the morning at first light and in the evening just before it starts to get dark, they do it to call to each to a meeting place like a tree or group of trees. They then chatter to each other getting louder and louder until they decide it's time to roost and then they fly off together as it starts getting dark xx

@@TravelTrollsTV it's more like squabbling during nesting times as they want prime spots and unmatched ones trying to pair up with a mating partner as they mate for life, all corvids mate for life all though the males tend to be a bit hen peck as their female mates tend to take their frustrations out on their husbands when they have had a bad day. the males just sit there stoically listening to the females ranting about how bad their day has especially if they have had a squabble with a neighbour

Reguarding the arch bridges the height you see on the bridge is the height from ground to the top of the arch so if it says 10. 4 height that is the height of the bridge
