Word to the wise, when buying travel products, use them right away, daily if possible in your everyday life. If there are quality issues, it's best to find out in the return window of time. And Merino wool socks are awesome. I bought my first pair at REI in 2006 or so and couldn't believe I was paying $15 for a pair of socks! I still wear them 18 years later, best $15 I've ever spent. I have about a dozen pair now and a number of other items.

I have the Sony headphones. One trip I came home with way more stuff than I left with, so I boarded the plane with the headphones around my neck, and packed a bunch of stuff in their case which was already taking up space in my personal item anyway.

I bought my rainjacket from Rains which is a Danish brand when I was in Copenhagen and its 100% waterproof with clever design to cover pockets so you can carry and access your electronics no problem in heavy downpour. The hood also has a sort of forehead cover/tip design to prevent rain from dripping down the hood onto your face. A MUST HAVE for walking my dog twice a day in NYC in rainy season. It’s been over a decade and the jacket is still in perfect condition. (Right after I got back from Copenhagen I saw they opened a store around the block from me in Brooklyn 😅) Highly recommend.

So quick note! For global entry , you’re not guaranteed your tickets will always have precheck . The majority of the time you can get it., just fyi! And if u have precheck same . However there’s always a 5% chance you’ll get randomly selected for not precheck screening . If it Happens all the time then I would call the customer service number. This is my line of work. I do have to explain to ppl why they didn’t get it . And speaking of precheck . FYI for any veterans /active/retired. If u have a D.o.D number .. put it In where u put in a precheck. Number you should get pre heck status every time u fly ❤

There is at least one item I found, but I had to look for it, and (as you might expect), it isn't something many will want. The men's 10 pack merino socks are $80 off the (claimed) regular price of $200 (40% off). Most items that are on sale seem to be about 10% off, with a few items ~20% or ~30% off.

DJI Air series is a bold recommendation, considering it is above 250g and therefore falls into a stricter regulations. For most of your viewers, DJI Mini 4 Pro would be a better choice, especially considering it can shoot vertically.

They do have a cable, however I’d recommend the Sony XM4, rather than the XM5. The XM4 have better noise cancelling, better build quality, cheaper and best of all fold, so take up less space while travelling. The XM5 are mostly a downgrade compared to the XM4.

ANC over the ear headphones are more a airplane fashion accessory than something you bring for noise control. While less effective at canceling, ear buds can be used the whole trip. Walking through the Louve or any crowded tourist attraction is better with muffled sound. Very few people will want to wear the larger ear muffs.

In the USA you need a license to operate a drone. I suspect other countries are similar and may even have more restrictive rules. You do NOT want to be in a foreign jail or have a $1k drone taken away. Research before traveling with one!
