People are not getting on/off from their ls12000/11000s though? It's 40s+. Can you ask Epson about that at all? We all agree instant on/off would be a great boon! Cheers

The delay is not actually in the picture though, it is about other things, i.e. the lens shutter opening and the HDMI handshake. The picture is at full strength once the lens shutter is open as can be seen from the Epson logo.

@@kalibrateltd8696 fair but almost all light sources are instant on/off but not to go full brightness. However saying it as he did makes me think if I buy one it will be useable right away which is not the case.

@@davemccague222 yes I agree but it's nice to have it Vs not and Epson just said it's instant on off when it's not. So shall we just call black is white they're both colours doesn't really matter?

I just setup an LS11000 in my small dedicated home theater and programmed it into my Harmony Bridge and remote. From launching an activity or switching off via remote, I immediately hear the (terrifying lol) sound of the lens door opening/closing and within seconds I have video on my projection screen or everything is black off with all fans spun down. It’s really awesome and definitely less than 10 seconds total each way. My Panasonic UHD Player takes longer to fully boot up than this projector haha.

What they are saying about the supply issue is bullshit. The distributor I ordered mine from has only received 6 projectors since March. And aren’t expected to get more till mid June. That’s why it really pisses me off seeing people with projectors given to them for free for review. When I payed over $4,000 for mine.

I am super excited, as I ordered myself a ls12000 a few weeks ago. The gaming lag was a big seller for me, as I do a lot of ps5 gaming.
