I have a 2021 6.2L TrailBoss with a Whipple Supercharger making 558hp to the wheels. Put it in 4wd and it leaves just a hard as a TrackHawk. Reach out to Whipple Supercharger. They make one for the 5.3L

Unless he wants it to be unique (which does drive views) just modding up the 5.3 in either truck is definitely the way to go. Hell, can even bore and stroke it to a 402 or 408, add good internals, hot cam with good heads, and a Whipple and be under the cost and over the power of the Hellcat engine.

Told my wife I’ll never get rid of my 2002 WS6 Trans Am Mid Night Purple. Had it through College, everything done to it and even put a Cam in it, pulls over 700HP to the wheels. I remember the day in the shop when we finished it, we shattered 3 glass windows. Someday, one of my Kids will get it

Zero need to swap it, just put a whipple supercharger on it and have it properly tuned. Maybe a few other durability upgrades like vl es and springs. But no need to swap it when you cn upgrade it. The suoer charger is easy. The wiring harness alone worh be retarded expensive in a swap.

That sounds great even though I'm not a dodge fan. EVs take away a lot of "Feel". Plan to hold out for quite a while. I know in the dirt bike world the electric stuff sounds so clapped out and weird. You can hear the suspensions clank. Something the motor kind of covers up with a gas motor. I love my 2 strokes. Thankfully I will likely be to old to ride by the time its forced electric on us. The new bikes are pretty great though. Battery life is just not there yet. I want the ability to run 30 miles of trail, come back and top off. Most areas are remote, so charging stations aren't really feasible and swappable batteries aren't a thing yet. Heck were I like to ride an EV does not have enough range to get them there and back, but there is a tesla super charging station roughly half way.... still would add a bit of time to an already long commute even with something like a rivian if you could actually charge it there.

The problem is, that people go and sit in their driveway and rev these very loud vehicles and disturb people for a long ways. They have made their own problem. It also doesn't help that gas/oil is going away and the cartels are making a last grab for cash before their one trick pony goes away. I am happy to not hear loud vehicles around my house and the idiots that think pissing off everyone around them so they can have their loud car is ok. Just that cops don't bust people for loud exhausts anymore or we have emissions doesn't mean it is right.
