Apparently this OST made Nobuo Uematsu question his own work while he was composing songs for FF4.

yea. He was blown away by Koshiro's work on ActRaiser so much so he had wanted to increase the sample quality of the soundtrack ahead of the game's release but to no avail.

@@PhukYu2 Interestingly, the composer for this did work on one Castlevania game. I didn't play that one(it was one of them on the DS) so dunno if it had any music that sounded like this.
