I did the shoulderstand and chinstand with the wheel!!!🤩🤩🤩🤩 I cant pigeon like that yet for king pigeon with or without the wheel but i ll keep working on it!!! Awesome practices!!! Thank you🙏😘

Ok, first of all I SUBSCRIBED... 2nd, I've had a Yoga wheel since late 2018 and just now found this awesome maneuver! I can't wait to try this out. I used to kinda pull ONE leg over to touch my head from above, but I never could pull BOTH my legs over. Exciting stuff :D

dear shana, the video s good but I hv 2 querries. firstly, while performing the first pose, is there a possibility that the round wheel prop will move resulting in the practitioner falling on face? 2ndly, wud she have pain or damage on her lumber region?? thnx. vaishali. pune. India.

hi vaishali, i totally had the same concern, but i have experimented a lot with the wheel and it has not slipped out once. it has rubber traction on the outside of it, so as long as it's on a yoga mat, i think it is very unlikely to slip. and, i always encourage everyone to maintain length in the tailbone while backbending, in order to avoid hurting the lumbar spine. she is a very smart practitioner and knows how to keep her back safe. that is another great question! when you use the wheel, you can move it forward or back to find the distance that works for your particular body. if you ever feel any pain, it's always a good idea to come out of the pose. it sounds like you are smart and mindful about your practice and know how to keep yourself safe. :) shana

I practice every day. But it really depends on your goals. Backbends are the backbone of yoga asana practice. If you are serious about your yoga practice, backbends should be a very significant part of every practice you do. You need to decide how often you wish to practice to stay healthy in mind, body and spirit. 🙏

aarti sehgal you can turn the subtitles on or off. I don’t put them there, it is an option you choose on your KZbin settings. Hope that helps!
