@@CalineTechnology I use budget pedals for sound design and experimental audio. Ambient delays and reverb are essential. Usually when a budget pedal has reverse it sits very quietly in the mix, even at 100% wet, it may also have a really limited delay/decay time, often it will sound very "digital" granular, and finally it may well clip on anything remotely approaching line level. There you go, that's what's not wanted. I have an Island delay by donner and a cuvave multi delay. Neither of their reverse delays are any good. Suffering from some or all of he above. Especially weak sounding on full wet. I have a digitech digi delay x series. I love it. Even though the reverse is quirky and temperamental it's clear bold and strong in the mix. I love it and so do all of my fellow artists that have used it.

The unanswered question is "does it do normal reverb, like, at all?" I'm intrigued by this pedal and others like it but I'd like to know if it's all shimmer all the time. What happens when you turn the shimmer all the way down? I have the Flamma FC02, which gets a little shimmery-ish but does normal well too. Be cool to find one that can do it all for a reasonable price.

it's not an ordinary reverb, then you can't hear the usual reverb sound. it's basically a pedal with octaves reverberations

Hi Perry. Really enjoy your music and your reviews. I purchased this pedal and I like the way it sounds but when I engage it on my pedal board it makes reverb pop sound. So if I want to bring it into a mix while playing live it's kind of a disruptive sound. Is that normal?

I wanted to use this pedal for solos and stumped across one at our local shops. I was just curious though, If you turn the shimmer knob totally off... can you get it to a setting similar (or closer) to a plate/room reverb (or just like any normal reverb) without the shims?

Had the Fluorescence. Has a big volume drop which makes it unusable unless always on, which is a crying shame.

​@@DrRepper agree.. you can use ut with clean booster, or, you can dial 70% of your guitar volume knob when you're not using the flourescence, and dial 100% when you're using it

The only downside of this pedal is that when you turn off the switch, the reverb suddenly stops also, it doesnt have a reverb trail

All reverb pedals I know acts exactly like this. In fact I am not aware of any pedal which have a tail of the effect when you turn it off. I may be wrong though.

@@soundvandal3570 I'm no guitarist but I do have one and an Industrial Ektara I built. I use them for sound design. The Ektara. Has a strat pup and a piezo pup. Each have a volume knob. The piezo feedback like crazy. I use the volume knob to get gated feedback between notes. I'm thinking of adding one to my guitar now. Great with a fuzz face or super fuzz.
