I'd almost forgotten about collies, bc you never see them any more. I had collie friends when I was a teenager, but having a dog just wasn't in the cards with my mother. I knew a grey/blue named Tippy, a sable named Sandy, a tri-colour who was rented out for stud named Laddie, but that was it for years and years. Nice to see them again. Want one.

​@user-ct1rf8zk5c Because there's tallow in their lower fur layer, which causes their fur to be waterproof. So if you bath them, especially if you use soap for it too, the tallow from their fur gets washed out, which is a great problem considering it's one of the things that makes them not feel so cold in the winter and so warm in the summer.

Obviously did'nt love him that much, I have a rough collie called Luca, there is absolutely no scenario possible where I could give him or any dog I have ever owned up! You don't understand the trauma a dog goes through when they are taken away from their home, they are your responsibility for better or worse. I hope you never put a dog through that again
