She takes care of this dog as her family member. Sure, dogs are not humans and should probably not be treated fully as humans and she is not her biological mum (duh?). But then again, she might do everything for the dog, and the dog brings her the joy and company of a loved one. So what is wrong with calling herself or people calling her the mum of the dog? Whatever is harmless and makes people happy. Maybe you don't have a dog or behave like this with your dogs but I find it sweet their relationships, even though I don't bathe my border collie that often. Dog culture is different in every country, with every family and even individuals. As long as you don't mistreat them, why not consider them your family? Or let's not look at the channel or spend time writing comments. This is not censureship but calling people crazy is not a way to make people feel good either

Flynn is an Aussie, and he walks into the shower tub of his own accord, and so does Missy Molly Bernedoodle! Both Neighbour dogs. How was this accomplished? Playing ‘Find It’ , IT being a ball with cooked liver treats! First, put the ball in simple to find locations, then into the tub, intermittently! The same training with a cabela in the back country! This training is especially important when the Australian Shepard gets skunked😭

We never gave our 14 year old collie a bath, not necessary and gives many dogs problems.

Keeping a dog that beautiful looking it’s best is a work of love! I don’t think a dog needs to be filthy to warrant a bath. Waiting until it’s filthy makes the bath harder for doggo and hooman.

Observing the dog can often unmistakably assess a dog handler's personality and character. I haven't yet seen a Border Collie fond of water, it takes unlimited patience and training in the handler's part to make a Border Collie act so calmly during the bath. Evidently, this Border Collie puppy is a very fortunate dog to meet such a great handler.

Wellp, my border collie doesn't hate water at all, and doesn't mind getting soaking wet in wet grass or anything. But come near her with bath/hose/anything and she runs away and hides instantly.

We have a border collie. His name is Bridger. I got my man for Christmas 10 years ago. I took him home from the barn inside my wool coat. He is so smart. When it's his bath time. I just say get a bath. He will go and sit in the tube. . Border collies are so smart. They will train you not the other way around. Your border collie is very beautiful. And so good. Put a towel over the edge she'll be more willing to get in and out. The slippery edge is what they have an issue. Not that they always want a bath. Helped my dog and kept me from having to pick his 90 lbs up and try setting him down in the tub

I have been watching your channel since you brought “chicken nugget” into your home. I adore all of them. I had 2 Golden Retrievers and they were not easy to wash. Sola is so well behaved. May I suggest a couple of things to make it easier for you to wash her. One, leave her head until the last moment to wash. Having their face (especially, their ears) wet seems to make them more uncomfortable when washing. Use tearless puppy shampoo for the face. Use a “blade” - a loop-shaped metal with handle to extract (push out) the water from their fur. It makes it easier to dry them with towel when you are finished. Always a good idea to brush and trim their fur before washing them. And also, cleaning their ears and tushy before you wash them. Next time I adopt a puppy, I will have a shower stall to bath them, as jumping into the bathtub is not their favorite thing to do. Lastly, I can see I was not the only one having a bath while bathing my dogs. Wishing you so much joy with Sola and Tido. Take Care.
