Love your channel and I'm new to the jeep world. Hope to see you out on the trails some time. I'm in Parker, CO. I know this is an older video but is what popped up today.

Cool, I've been up Mt. Herman Rd. My dad took me up in his TJ many years ago when I was visiting him in Monument. There was definitely snow, but not too deep, it was a pretty rad trip.

Love the “washboard” terminology. It truly brought me closer to the adventure. Keep Jeep’n 😄👍🏼

At the top of Herman you can go north on Rampart all winter long and exit out to Hwy 67 via Hotel Gulch and via FR 351 through Rainbow Falls. The Rampart seasonal gate closure to the north is not until after 351. You don't have to go south through Woodland Park or back out Herman if you are equipped to bash a little snow. It's a wonderland and super fun all winter long.

Thanks for another great post! My wife and I drove it two weeks after your April 24, and I was thinking "I'd love a chance to see some overhead footage of these rock formations" -VIOLA! Fantastic. And you are right about that downhill spur - shady and inviting of ice.

Great video but that was a male blue grouse 🐦. I live just over in Castle Rock and never have been up there. It looks cool! Thanks for sharing

Thanks for sharing. Would love to hear your top 10 Colorado trails that are not shelf roads….for those of us wanting an intermediate to difficult trail but don’t like the stress of shelf roads (which aren’t usually technical for obvious reasons). Thanks.

How far up the gravel road would a person have to go before they reached a good campsite type situation?
@TrailTraveler Жыл бұрын
All the good campsites are past the summit on the west side. There isn't much of anything on the way up from the east.

I don’t think that’s a turkey. I think that’s a grouse.
