This is my absolute favorite aircraft, not up for debate. I have marveled over this 200 series ever since I was thrown back into my seat, and catapulted down the runway when I was younger. Also, being in a holding pattern where once we were given clearance, this aircraft dropped out the sky like an"eagle" that was homing in on it's prey from above once it was in sight, I've never experienced anything like that before. I seek these 757-200's when I fly domestically, the A321-200 can't touch this!

Agreed, one of my college instructors flew the 757s as a pilot ( amongst other jets as well) and loved its performance.

It's the last holdout of overpowered airplanes, surviving this long only because of two engines. All its quad overpowered peers have gone. Concorde, A345, 747SP etc The last of its kind

You and me both. Thankfully I've been able to enjoy Hawaii many times now. Usually, when I fly for the channel, I'm in and out in less than 24 hours, but I've spent full weeks on all of the islands. The Big Island is my favorite to explore.

@@sla31 I've never been to Hawaii. The overriding reason: it's so expensive. It didn't make sense for me to go there when for the same amount of money, I was able to go to Thailand, Singapore, The Philippines, New Zealand, and Australia. Or over to Morocco. Or down in Mexico.

I hear you there. Hawaii is expensive. Most of the "leisure" trips I've taken to Hawaii were back when I worked for American. So, I didn't have to pay for the airfare haha. It's been a good 6 years since then though.

Yes, sitting in the very back of a Mad Dog, with engines roaring right outside your windows and seeing everyone sitting ifo you being pressed into their seat on the takeoff roll was great
