( Tom again.) R.J., Thank You for honoring America's service-men, and women, by running these Army train cars on your layout. I am sure fans of your videos who are, or were, in the service appreciate your nod to them with this train setup and it's run!!! I, myself, was never in the service, but l am sure a good number of your fans are/were. I am sure they appreciate you taking the time to highlight the Military's input in any of the wars this country has been involved in. Thank You for making this video for them!!! Take care, sir!!

A really great display of military readiness on the rails, RJ! Didn't know Menard's had such a wide variety of military related freight cars. Always nice to see.

Next step is grass applied with a static applicator. And I would try painting those menards cars, probably be even better. Nice camera closeups. Been waiting for my preordered bay window military caboose forever. Gary j

I really like the startup and idle sounds of the RS-3. The Atlas Hospital cars are great.

Great collection RJ! And that's some "I need a tune-up, NOW!" coming from the Alco! Typical Alco engine sounds, VERY authentic! Hey, not only did Long Island have Army installations but it was also home to two major WW2 industries, Republic Aviation in Farmingdale where the P-47 "Thunderbolt" fighter airplanes came from and also Grumman Aviation in Bethpage, which the US Navy called "Grumman's Iron Works." That's where the Navy's F4F "Wildcat," F6F "Hellcat," and later in the war the F8F "Bearcat" fighters came from. Both industries were absolutly vital to the US war effort. Great video! Looking forward to the next!

Have you tried a steam engine proto 2 upgrade kit ? Ive got a not working premier daylight and premier j, never have soldered much, but the kit has sat here new in box 8 years. Did you do such an upgrade? Wondering how difficult. Always admire your camera work...gary j
