Jerry definitely has a talent and fore thought of how building his inclosures for the long term to help the animal and his plans for the future. I like the idea of the removeable doors so that the 2 adults can come together for breeding at their own pace. The textured concrete walls is a another nice touch. If he painted them they would like realistic and not like ole boring concrete. I have a feeling Jerry could start his own inclosure building business if he wanted to.

I love the "smart" design elements... that double plastic curtain with airspace between, the texture in the cement from the forms built from old wood, the carabiners to lock up, the drainage in the middle of the cage... double screened from the bottom.... LOVE it all !

Jerry, thinks outside the cage. The access doors during breeding season is a thought that a lot of zoo's don't use. You don't have to physically move animals. Jerry allows his animals to move at their own pace and if threatened they can go to their boxes and be left alone.

I like how big Slinky's enclosure is compared to those smaller encloses. I'm glad Slinky gets all of the room. Your Winter cold is WET! The humidity and wind blows right through your clothes. It's very different from "dry cold."

Is there a mechanical fastener on the hide box lids? That would be heartbreaking to have another incident like Slinky's. Everything looks great Jerry. As an electrician bonus points for planning on conduit, and thermostats.

Jim Heck is a legend that’s were my animal came from his boxes are 83 degrees and up Keep listening to Jim absolute amazing monitor keeper . Monitors need it warm ya don’t have the box over 95 but I rather them a little warmer than cold and get sick

I'll never understand why people with these beautiful, large enclosures never string up more logs and shit higher up. It would make it harder to get around for the handler, but for the lizards it would rock. These cages look big, but the only usable space is the ground and the one or two small platforms...
