Before doing anything else I feel like you need to do something about the rust... At least wire brush the underside and use some sort of rush prevention. Regarding the rust on the body work, I highly doubt its worth replacing the whole panel but you could at least touch it up with some paint

ive had a portable carplay for over year and its decent, if u wanna play ur music thru the car u either have to use aux from the car play, fm or what i do is connect to carplay and my cars bluetooth
